"Choose a seat, everybody!" Kerri calls out, waving Vali and Gerd in.

Audrey comes in "Just because you're my brother I have to show up for.. oh my god how much SPAM did you put in?"

The table is...impressive. Norman Rockwell might even be inspired to do it justice in a painting.

At the head of the table, Brekke knocks her knuckles on the table's surface three times to call for quiet.

Nolan shrugs at his sis, looking proud

At the knock folks quiet

Everyone has picked a seat, Tiffany had one pulled out for her by Vali

And when quiet is achieved (or relative quiet, at least), the Chieftain says, "I understand that this unexpected feast is courtesy of an inspired pooka and a resourceful Hearth and Rover. Let us congratulate them on a job well done." She begins a round of applause for the three of them.

Nolan pumps his fist "yes, I am the pooka king!"

Kerri calls out, "And to Tove, via Dagmar!" indicating the broccoli that sits like an emerald accent on the table.

Connor is already planning how to fill his plate with no room for broccoli.

Laughter, and then the Chieftain says, "Hearth, may the feasting begin?"

"From OUR gardens" Jack says

"I think it had better, Chieftain!" Kerri replies. "Dig in, everybody!"

“Huzzah! From the spam bush!”

More laughter, and a chaotic jumble of pass-the-plate and yes-please! and ooh-I-want-some-of-that....

Dagmar places some broccoli on COnnor's plate as they are filling up on the bounty. Sneaky troll.

A whimper, betrayed.

He surreptitiously checks under the table for any dogs.

It is, at least, Tove broccoli.

Somehow ONE broccilli jumps down into Oak's mouth

Somehow, Kerri made sure that a salad made it out onto the table, too.

And honestly...it's all very, very good. Even the broccoli!

Connor does try it. Even if he holds his nose and makes a face. Then, he sneaks a second bite when no one is looking.

Olgar chows down "The secret to a good grilled spam is attitude... don't dismiss the spam, respect the spam, it's a working man's food. It's blue collar glory"

Vali blinks at that "Should we hum music to this?"

"Oh, here we go...." Kerri mutters good-naturedly.

Somewhere, a viking-esque murmur begins.

A brow from Brekke, and an amused look as the murmur begins...and grows. She doesn't join in, but she does seem to appreciate!

"If the Mountain were here, I think he might have some wise words to offer about this meal," she says as the humming continues. "In his place, however, I think the task falls to you." Yes, putting the almost-Mountain on the spot.

Nolan joins in

Vali chuckles, "Truly ...I think it this odd yet wonderful meal, shows us that the difference between a minor crisis and a sudden delight"

Kerri quietly joins in as well, and the sound grows.

"And how it's all a matter of outlook "

Tiffany mutters "Spam spam..."

Gerd oo

"Hear hear!" Kerri says.

Brekke merely toasts her coffee (which, mercifully, does not contain Spam) to Vali's words...and then returns to the actual eating.

Vali chuckles and joins innto the last refrain

SPAMMITY SPAM!

A crescendo, and more laughter!

As the noise subsides, Kerri quietly leans close to Nolan and says, "Thank you. This was a fun challenge."

Nolan looks embarrassed "Well... mostly I just wanted to wear the crown but... uhm.. o one could pick the glove and feed it to me like you"

Audrey looks surprised "Annd damnn i, this IS good brocoli"
