"Okay, go on... find Nolan first, if you can."

"Hup... HUP!" He darts off, luckily Jack is fast enough to keep up!

Jack beams at the hug, then races off after Connor

WHile the boys race off, Olgar comes out "Uh.. what's with the Spam?"

She watches them go, then turns back to join Olgar. "We got pooka'd. But it's okay. Been a while since I've had Spam'mac'n'cheese."

Olgar stops. Then coughs. "Ah.. baby?"

"Worst comes to worst, I'm betting Dirk won't mind playing clean-up crew. But they boys have gone to invite people to pick up a can or two. Or seven."

"Hm?"

"This.. might... indirectly... be your husband's fault"

She blinks, then looks at him narrowly. "Ohhhh?"

It is odd, to see this man who ahs faced nightmares made reaal squirm just a bit at the face of the wife, or perhaps not so odd if one is married

"Well, I've been teaching them as Unseelie fledges. they were curious what their kiths were about..." Ahem "You know, Nolan is hard to understand but I got the general idea. Annd I may have said something about pookas being known for their pranks, the bigger the more they got rep. "

Kerri can translate the 'may' into 'most certainly he said just that'

She holds the narrowed look another moment...then breaks into a slow grin. "Just for that...you get to learn how to cook BBQ Spam on the grill." A poke in the ribs.

"Already know" he says "Spam travels remarkably well both on regular roads and the trods. It's practically a Rover fall back. I guess I must have learned to cook it at least three different ways. Not as good as you could, but this is my doing and if you want I'm make a whole rack of spam for the lodge tonight"

"Ohhh, okay. It's ON. Spam in the kitchen and on the grill. Spam-a-palooza."

"Annnnnnd...once we go through the cooking and the trading and the handing them out, I'll want you to find a bunch of those cans some good homes with the Rovers."

"I should have known that Spam would be Dreaming-stable."

"Huh? Sure ... theylll joke but they WILL take it, gratefully or I'll kick their asses" He kisses her, and ggoes to get to work

Meanwhile, Connor follows his nose!

And Jack follows Connor

And they find Nolan looking at the lake, at his reflection, and sayin in an Aussie accent as he draws a quill "That's not a knife, THIS is a knife"

"That's not a knife, that's a pen." Connor pipes up after watching him for a while.

He jumps "You didn'tt see me doingg ANYTHING less that cool, got it?" He turns blushing "What up?" Head nod macho

Jack looks at Connor "you tell him. I'm not a squire"

Connor holds up the found quill! Gingerly. "We seen you at the found of the crime."

A brow then "I didn't think you were a PIG Pooka

Connor looks a bit confused. "You don't like Orwella?"

NNow he looks confused 'No, I'm saying you're the fuzz"

"He's furry more than fuzzy" Jack says

"Yeah, see?" He waves his plumed tail.

Nolan facepalms, somehow not spikin himself "Okay, Five O, you caught me. Now what?"

"You have to report for the Hearth's Justice. Or you'll get roasted by embers!"

He winces, then considers "Okay. I'll go report in RIGHT now, thanks for letting me know"

"RIGHT now. Immediately. Dinner is at 6:30, you'd better wash your spams. I mean, hands."

"Oh sure..." Nolan nods vigorously, quills waving

"Otherwise..." He has a grim expression, "ROASTING."

A head tilt, and Nolan looks to Jack, who is tapping his hoof "I don't speak geek"

"He meanns just because we're childlings, don't forget, we GOT MORE BETTER MAGIC tthan you so you better show up or he'll do squire stuff"

"Uh. YEAH!"

"Okay okay.. geez, no one told me there were consequences." He ggrumbles but seems to not trying to get away

He salutes. "Shadowpaw, Accomplished! "

"Mozel scoff"

Jack pats Connor on the back "We did it! Huzzah!"

"Spamgratulations!"

"SPamtasic" Jack throws back!
