Blinkums seems in awe of the lodge, compared to a mundane home, this is a place of WONDER

"Yes, yes." Frank rumbles "You will be welcome here, as long as you do no harm."

"Who could harm such big big people, and who want to harm grand place, is like forest stillness here?"

"You might be surprised." he says wryly "We avoid harm by taking caution, and care."

"Yes, Leech Leech was bad, shamed I am he made me," the little creature hangs his head, which as his head is his torso makes him wobby and fall onnto his face "Shame hurt hurt" he observes

Blinkums gets up, and starts to nose around under tables

Frank lets him explore. "Can you tell me more about Leech?"

"Scared Scared, all the time, made him mean meann. Would whisper about horse horse folk"

"Had to whisper, was sluagh" A nod "Powerful, rich. Rumor he done ggood ggood when young young, but Me came too late to see good one if true true?"

A grunt, understanding "What was your purpose to him? What did he have you do?"

"Spy Spy with eyee eye. What I see, he see too. So.. he saw laundry" A gigggle

"You were in that basement to avoid giving him information?" Frank tests his understanding.

"Yes yes... am new, but know wrong wrong. Leech boss do wrong wrong. If Blinkum helped, Blinnkum would be wrong too." He shakes his his torso/head

Frank nods his understanding. "What information did he want you to gather?"

"This place, all you. And those you love love. Where stay. Where at. Who is. Blinkums is not the smartest Chimera, but I am smart enough to know what THAT meant"

"It may be we owe you a debt, then, Blinkums."

"Debt Debt? You not owe owe for me not wantingg to be bad bad. That... goodness gift blinkums ggive to himself. When no one else around, Blinkums still there with himself. Got to live yourself, yes yes?"

"That is very very true."Frank nods gravely.

"When you meet the Hearth and Chieftess, be sure to mention that." his beard moves "They would value the compliment. It is thier vision, and work, that make it so."

"Blinkums, are there any considerations we need to make for you? Limitations, or likes that you have?"

"Very limited, small, puny, get stabbed, go poof. Am only small dream after all, weak, but most folk not like beinn stabbed. I just happy to visit Boss"

"Boss? You mean Leech?"

Frank nods. "The Chieftess is Boss, but I act on her behalf." he clarifies "Be welcome here, Blinkums."

Gerd comes in and binnks "Uh, Mounntain? What's that?"

"Am Blinkums." Blinnkums says

The Chimera looks at Frank, "Who is this? Nice nice?"

"Yes. This is Gerd Hornshield. Gerd, this is Blinkums." the giant says soberly.

"Nice to meet you Blinkums" She looks tickled, "May I borrow the Mountain for a bit? I wanted to talk to him."

"Kay Kay, Blinkum go over thee" He points to a corner "Cover ears, look at wall. No snoop snoop"

"Blinkum, if you like you may use any common area; respect people's privacy and personal spaces but you needn't stay in a corner either. Gerd, care to take a walk?"

"Sure" Gerd nods and walks with him "Didn't mean fuss about the guest?"

Blinkum turns around

"Mm. No fuss. And, might not be a guest as much as a new resident. We'll see." They walk outside and down the trails.

"New Resident?" A brow "That's generous" The ggirl makes a gesture and an old shield forms over them, the rain redirecting

"We'll see." he repeats.

"Oh yes. Sorry," She moves along with him "Uhm.. the old man has been talkin"

"Has he?" Frank seems unsurprised.

"Lil bit.." a nod "He's ... he says something's eatinng you?"

"We all have worries or concerns, and some times when things weigh more heavily than other times. It's a normal part of life."

A small shrug of his powerful shoulders. "Of course I have had concerns recently, strong ones. Many have been dealt with. Some remain. Of those, some are more troublesome than others. All this is normal, Gerd."
