Brekke makes a brief, amused sound. "There is no difference in rank. There is a difference in culture. I prefer Chieftain here at the Lodge, and thank you for recognizing that, Tiara."

"You're welcome" She says "Ready, Jordan?"

"Ready Myrmidon Tiara" He answers with a smirk. When she looks at him "hey, culture"

SHe rolls her eyes, bows to the Chief, and heads off with Jordan

Jordan calls out "I'll hold my action until I get word from the others. Guess I've got a room at CF"

"Be safe, both of you. Contact me if there is need."

Second guessing will not help, she knows that from experience, but if things DO go wrong, she will feel the blame despite no doubt her daughter trying to assure her otherwise

Then she sighs and returns to tending to the Kestrel, while the wilders are entrusted with the central efforts of this endeavor.

There are times she'd like to take flight just her and her mountain, but that's not an option right now
