"That is a strong veil," Brekke says to Zane with approval...and perhaps a bit of apprehension at his ability to get in the Lodge as undetected as a sluagh.

Sylvi does take a moment to wave up at Symon with a half-grin.

Nadeen went quiet as Symon revealed himself, but she said nothing rude

Brekke does nod slightly at Dagmar's question. "What is the advantage of this deception, though? If the goal is to undermine Leech's influence, then saying that his efforts were successful would work against our goals."

"Thanks," Zane smiles at the praise

Then he frowns at the catch mentioned "Mmm I was hopingg it might make them quit or slow down. My expertise is maggic not espionage" A wince "Sorry"

Brekke shakes her head. "No apologies. We are thinking this out. And as I said, I am not as skilled a schemer as some here."

Jaymes speaks up "I cann play dead, or I can be very much alive. But my daugghter's been worryingg" A look to Dagmar "She's due a part in this plan. "

Siv hopscotches up to the rafters, and squeeze up near Symon, possibly startling him, obviously she doesn't fit enough to sit there so she dangles.. and whispers

Dag folds her arms across her chest.

Symon startles and almost falls out of the rafters! Luckily those sticky fingers haul him back into place, and he glares.

Brekke nods. "Dagmar is due that, yes...and if we have thallain in play, now, then I suspect that may be where her strength will be best used."

"Ooo can I play ? I'll share " Vali offers a mention of the thallia and looks to Dagmar to see if she dosn't mind

Jordan blinks and looks up at troll legs sticking out from the rafters

Brekke retakes her seat by the balefire. "Please, Baroness Nadeen, this plan is initially yours. I would wish to see how you and others arrange it." Not a challenge; she's genuinely interested in this plot that's outside of her usual skill set.

"I fought vampires once, I know they're hard. But thallain? Yeah."

Jaymes looks at his daughter, then nods

A grunt ("I'll protect your mother and CJ if you want. Stay close to home")

Nadeen nods "Well, " A show of mlitary stregth like Dame Dagmar and others can provide migght lull them ito thinkingg business as usual, allowing my plan to go under way. the non combatants focus on defangingg his funds"

She clenches her hands into fists. "Right. I need to protect home."

A shake of his head "Not what i meant"

"I meant, I would stay close to home!" He clarifies "Sorry"

"I can't..." She waves her hand at the others. "Symon can do computer stuff, Siv is sneaky, Nadeen has magic..."

"I can't do any of that. I just hit things."

"I meant you could go on far patrols, hunt down physical dangers. I cann protective family"

"You also read he truth" Nadeen fusses "VERY useful on inntell"

Symon snorts from up above. "JUST hit things. I can't tell you how many times having a SINGLE muscle... I'm talking one- ONE THEW... would have saved someone's bacon... someone small and squishy."

"That too" Nadeen says forgetting she's agreeing with a sluagh "You have muscle but you also have brains. I heard about how you froze the ground to keep the cadmus fangs from sprouting. That was quick thinking, not muscle"

Jaymes actually swells a bit with pride

"Desperation in dark times that breeds heroism is what makes legends," Nadeen huffs and raises an imperious brow "Stop under cutting yourself. You're making me say Symon is right. You know I Hate admitting that even when he is"

Then, the Varich blushes juuust a bit

with humor perhaps

Kelby rolls her eyes "Think she broke something admitting that"

Zane, being a satyr, chuckles more loudly

"But Symon can do cool computer stuff. So - bank accounts are online?"

Symon says nothing, kindly... but ooooh, Nadeen can just imagine the smirk on his face...

"Yeah" Jordan says, and looks up "He's a computer wiz?"

"He's really really good" Zane nods.

Sally Mae nods "Yes, Symon annd I can work onn that. he can get me in. I can work with him on the numbers"

"Sally Mae will know better how to work in accounting software. But I can get through passwords, firewalls, encryption... maybe." He is sure to add that last.

"Of course you can." Total faith.

Vali ponders "Gerd might be able to portal passage some wifi kind of booster inside a bank wall"

"Computers seem safer?"

"When you've diverted as much as you can to charity, Gerd should portal passage herself into a bank vault and hide a brick of coke and a list of names in a security deposit box. Tip off the feds, and there goes the rest of any funds he has - they'll do the work tracing them down and locking them as suspected drug money."

Nadeen looks imprressed, "Yes, yes that would work. the goal is to keep him from funds, wherever it goes"

"Just don't ask me where to get drugs. Me brain, have idea. You grunt, find things." He gestures vaguely to the entirety of the lodge beneath him.

Siv begins to chuckle trying to muffle it, which may cause her butt to wiggle and her legs to kick.

Zane looks up admiring tthen finds focus "Yes.plans. Good"
