Sylvi snickers, and Kerri shakes her head, grinning. Even Brekke gives a brief sound of amusement. "It is fine, Jordan. And thank you."

From behind the kitchen door "You're welcome"

"Okay" Kelby grins "he's cute"

Sylvi elbows Kelby slightly, grinning.

Sounds of a truck parking outside.

Brekke looks over. "That sounds like Jaymes' truck."

Oak gives a warm woof of welcome, confirming whoever it is, they're part of the pack

Frank goes to get the door (and check).

Dagmar hops out from the driver's side after parking, going round to help the older troll.

Brekke absently scruffles Oak's ears, watching Frank at the door.

For some reason, Sylvi takes a deep breath and exhales slowly.

"I can walk fine," Jaymes grumbles , though he does move a bit stiffly as he gets out

"There's stairs, though."

Kerri grins at the sound of Jaymes and Dagmar trying to out-stubborn each other.

"I could carry you, I bet. Or you could take my damn shoulder."

Brekke takes her seat by the balefire.

Frank steps aside to make room, holding the door for them.

"mmmm" ("Love you, but ---") Grumbly dad

The door opens, and somehow, Jaymes is at least partly propped by his daughterr

Grunt, nod for Frank.

Nadeen shakes her head and smiles despite herself.

Frank nods to both.

Sylvi can't help it...she starts applauding them as they enter.

Dagmar purples.

Smiling broadly as she does.

Jaymes purples a bit too "I don't deserve applause for getting shot. I should have killed them both without havin them hit." A look "Chieftain, ready for work"

A soft sound behind Jaymes, where Frank is closing the door. Must have been a cough. Or something.

Grumble, and she veers towards the couch.

Sylvi stops, looking embarrassed...but not very. "I'm applauding you for getting out of the hospital and on your feet."

An easy shrug.

Kerri doesn't say anything, but makes sure that Jaymes has a few cookies and a drink within easy reach.

"Well, I had a good doctor and some kind visitors" A nnod to her from Jaymes "thank you"

Brekke regards Jaymes. "I may ask you not to go back into combat just yet. But there is still much to do."

Thumbs-up from Sylvi to Jaymes.

Dagmar... hovers...

Nadeen asks "Dagmar? How are you?"

Kerri rests a hand on Dagmar's shoulder briefly. A grin and a nod: you're doing fine

"Oh. Hey Nadeen."

"Hey" Nadeen smiles, but concern in her eyes.

"Heya," Sylvi offers as an echo, with a little wave.

Brekke observes the group, then looks to Frank. "Mountain, please contact Zane and have him join us. Hearth, can you do the same for SallyMae? We must sort out our next steps."

Blink. "Right, hi Sylvi."

"You guys... like... here to fight?" Awkwardly.

"Maybe Symon should get in on this, too?" Sylvi suggests.

"Oh...um...." Sylvi blinks. "Yeah, if needed...but primarily I wanted to get down here to, y'know, try to help...." a nod towards Jaymes.

"If need be," Nadeen taps her sword at her side, "but I've sugggested a path of war more useful than blade I think"

She shuffles her feet. "Right. But Hemlock has him."

"Yeah, but...he doesn't have all the people who were working for him...or for whoever he was working for," Sylvi points out.

Brekke nods. "The goal is to neutralize Leech's power and influence."

Frank nods and steps outside, the better to communicate with the wilders of today; by text.
