"Hey" Kelby smiles at both Sylvi AND Sally mae

"Thallian this time" Vali answers

Vali's hatred of Thallian is well known

"Are they dead?"

"Yes" he admits

Brekke scowls at the word thallain then nods. "Vali, do you agree this is connected with Leech? I do not think it is likely to be coincidence."

"It is" Vali says without question, "And Sir Carowyn, I'll apologize again if it helps "

"Don't you apologize" Sally Mae humphs

Nadeen throws her hands up "CHieftain? May I sugest we ignore soap operrics for the moment and move onto the attack plans?"

"This is escalating," Brekke says. "We must begin. Sally Mae, what Baroness Nadeen says is true -- we need your financial expertise to help undermine Leech and those who do his bidding."

Nadeenn explains her plan to all yet again, and Sally Mae blushes

"That.. that's flattering.. yes it might work" The kinian says "My math skills are yours then, Chieftain"

Brekke nods. "Siv, if we can avoid having you act as Leech, I would prefer it. But if we must do that, we must alert the Count first, very quietly. Otherwise, Caer Falken will hunt you."

Siv looks intrigued "I wonder how long I'd last? "

Brekke gives her a weary look.

Jaymes looks at his neice, "Stop making your mother feel tired" As wounded uncle he can get away with this

Siv blushes chagrinned "Sorry. Tell the Count first, copy that"

"I want to help." Frustrated.

"You did help" A voice from the kitchen, Jordan opens tthe door "If not for you he'd have killed the other Centaurs"

A wary look.

"...Maybe, but.."

"Jordan, you may join us if you wish," Brekke invites, uncertain why the centaur thinks he needs to hide in the kitchen.

Jordan comes out cautiously "uhm sure. Just a bit crowded in here is all." He does come out though

Brekke did give Jaymes a grateful glance at his earlier comment to Siv. To the group she says, "This is not my expertise. I wish an enemy to hit, not a series of schemes to enact. But...I trust that this can be done, for Rivervale has clever people as well as strong."

Zane looks up from his books in the corner "I could put a fuddle on Daggmar and make folks think she's May so she can see if anymore are after her? If the bait thing is on the table?"

A soft grunt of agreement at 'enemy to hit.'

"Lupe's pack owes me one. Maybe they can help fight vampires?"

Jordan looks confused "Uhm aren't there folks good at lyin and spreading rumor? I fae society I mean?"

Brekke sighs, and looks at Siv briefly before she says, "Well, it seems unlikely to go unknown, so...yes, I have spoken with Lupe about this. She is eager."

Siv winces but nods

Kerri looks at Jordan. "Yes, there are many."

She chews on a nail.

"So.. why not word get out that Mister King.. pardon THAT mister king" He points to Jaymes "DIed on the operating table?"

Jaymes puts a hand on his daughter's shoulder as she starts to chew, genntle reassuring

Kerri blinks, and she looks to Brekke.

Brekke regards him. "Hm. Or if not that, then afterwards, from leaving the hospital too soon." She mulls it over. "But it would not remove the problem...only refocus it on other targets."

“Bad rap for my dad.” A hiss comes from the rafters. “But worth it. Mom will have to go overdrive. ..”

"JESUS" Jordan jumps as a rafter speaks , evenn if it is a whisper

And he shrinks back into the rafters, away from the shout.

Kerri looks up. "Oh, I was wondering, but I wasn't certain...."

"You get used to it, " Zane says in a normal volume to Jordan, and flips a page of the book "Not a bad idea. the enemy might spread word of that and that could clue us in too. "

Brekke also looks up. "Hm. Greetings, Symon. And yes, we do not wish that on Dr. Lee."

“If you say he left the hospital against doctors orders… makes sense a troll would “stubborn” himself to death.” Then he frowns and goes silent.

Sylvi does startle at Zane. "Okay, when did you get here?"

"I was texted by the mountain a while back." Zane says

Dag frowns.

"Oh, sorry, traveled by veil" He adds "Guess it just wore off"

"You think if.. if... you think that'd bring out more goons?"

Something weighs on Symon. He sinks back a bit and goes silent. Then again, Dagmar may be the only one who could tell the difference.
