Siv nods to Symon annd mouths 'yes unless you say otherwise'

"A moment," Brekke says, then she waves the approaching Dagmar to join them. "Symon would speak with you. We are making plans. You are to be involved." She offers the phone over.

"Dags?"

"Hey Sy."

"Word from the goons is that they have a baby gryphon kit. One of the prizes."

"Figured you might want to know. So I hope any explosives are either mortal flavored, or planned for areas that aren't likely to be a vault or treasure room."

"So - we need to rescue the baby, too?"

Frank lifts an eyebrow at 'baby' (assuming they are within earshot of Dagmar).

"I figured you'd say so. If you're not on scene...." He hesitates, with a glance to Siv, and answers, "I'm no good in a fight, so I'll see if I can find it. Centaurs come first, but I'll look."

Brekke frowns. She suspected there were centaurs of different ages, but a baby?

"Well, you know I'll protect you in a fight. Big blue wall."

"They're splitting the party. Which squad are you on? You know my vote, but this isn't my campaign."

"Uh..."

"Chief, what team is Symon on?"

"Dagmar, hold the phone so all may hear. I think this is how things will go...."

She nods, and holds the phone as directed.

"Two teams. Olgar, Frank, Dagmar, Gerd will go to Leech's compound in Connecticut. I will enlist aid from SilverWolf and DarkGate to attack the hunters' lair."

"After the attack begins on the hunters' lair, one of us will contact the team in Connecticut. We will make sure the wards are down -- I do not think we need explosives after all -- and then the Mountain and Gerd can flickerflash the centaurs out. Symon, we will need you to get the hairs to them first."

"Oh..."

"Dagmar and Olgar, you will lead the hunt on Leech...and I may ask Nadeen to join your team, now that I think of it." A grim tone there.

"Does this make sense to all?"

"Roger that" Siv says

Frank nods understanding and agreement.

She bites on her lip and nods.

"We can leave the samples outside in a safe spot for Gerd to find..." He suggests,

And after Siv repeats that loudly enough for Brekke to hear clearly, she says, "Yes. Indicate where on the map you send Dagmar."

"For timing...tomorrow night, beginning after full dark."

"Olgar, you will travel there separately from the rest. I will explain why in private."

Symon makes a face to Siv - disapproving of this hidden aspect.

"Gotcha" Olgar nods

"Full dark" Siv nods. She's learnn what her mom wanted her to learn of measuring the sunfall

"Good. If no other questions...we must prepare. Symon, keep alert for messages."

Maps are sent tto Dagmar and Brekke's phone

More useful for Dagmar, more likely. 🙂

And the call ends, and other calls begin. It's not exactly the lighting of the beacons, but the quiet arrangement of those with a common interest.

Frank will assist quietly with whatever needs doing.

And Nadeen sends a text... with information about a nocker... and some of the capablities of the other hunters

Brekke actually calls Nadeen....
