"The Kestrel is yours, Brekke." Frank rumbles.

"She is ours. And you have captained her before," she reminds. "Unless you see a better option?"

A pause. "Wait. If we get them out...with enough dross, we could FlickerFlash them all to a safe location."

"That.... could be a great deal of dross. And there is still the issue of getting them out."

"First, how to get six centaurs in unknown states of injury to a safe if temporary location. Then, how to gain them longer-term safety. Concurrently, how to end this Leach's hunt for good."

He checks to see if he's outlined things correctly and completely.

Brekke nods. "If he is in Connecticut, we will need to have him brought to Bergen to stand trial here under Hemlock's rule."

"We will be outside of any noble jurisdiction. We will have to do this quickly and correctly in one attempt."

Frank thinks quietly a moment. "What about a.... dead man's trigger? Doomsday device."

She blinks at him. "I would like all of us to emerge alive."

"As would I."

"How do you see such a device working in this situation? When and where?"

He thinks.

"I don't know. I don't know the geography of the landscape or the layout of the buildings, or the population."

"We must confer with Tiffany. And we must gather all together quickly. I told Siv to hold off on her plans for an hour for me to call her back. If she is going in as a disguised captive, I do not want her in there for long."

He nods. "Call Siv, and make plans. On reflection I don't think a doomsday device would work well."

Olgar mmmphs

Brekke nods, and she takes out her phone. Siv is, not surprisingly, on speed dial (though she probably had to program it into her mother's phone).

Siv picks up, "HEYYYY. girrrrlll freeen.. like, this place is like FULL of ruuude people... sec"

Brekke blinks and checks the phone...then catches on belatedly. "Ah. Yes."

She waits, assuming Siv is trying to get to a private place to speak.

"Sorry, ma, had to avoid ears. Symon's makingg sure we're not being snooped on. What's the situation?"

"I will be brief. We are still working out details, but yes, a two-prong approach." She looks to Frank and Olgar, inviting comment if they see fit. "There may be explosives as part of releasing the captives, warn Symon. Will he be able to get to us to give us a diagram of where they are being kept?"

"Sorry about that" she says after a pause "did you say.. explosives?"

"Mm. We suspect the wards may be too powerful to break by cantrip, but more mundane means may disrupt them. Also, we will already have begun the other attack, to draw their attention away, and perhaps more chaos may benefit us further. But we need to know where to strike."

"Second... we're working on a diagram nnow..." Siv says

The Chief migh hear "Well I'm not a surveyer or artist either but we're all they've got..." from Siv, presumably to Symon

Siv's voice pauses, apparently to let Symon speak, as he reminds her that he is rather skilled at dungeon maps and can text a basic layout over to Ch.... over to Dagmar, is probably a better bet.

"We'll send it to both.. and that's great..." Can be heard

Brekke says to Frank and Olgar, "She is speaking with Symon."

After a moment, she says, "Siv...I think we may need to involve DarkGate, perhaps SilverWolf, to take on the bounty hunters. Also may need to enlist the Farm for sanctuary. Thoughts?"

"Well, I thought Symon and I might handle the liberation here while you guys attacked the hunters lodge but if we need back up we need back up... might as well get us all in though. Make sure they understand this might get whoever is involved in 'legal troubles' with a common wealth"

Brekke pauses. "Siv, do you mean you think you and Symon can handle that rescue alone? That we should focus only on the bounty hunters and Leach?"

"We could use one more for transport of the Centaurs.. true. Hopefully those sample Symon got could help. As for Leach? he's a sluah.. good chance he'll make a run for it so yeah.. I guess we would need someone for the hunt on him"

"Symon thinks more people could be messy, more threat of casualties. He wants this end of things slim and trim"

A slow nod that Siv cannot see. "I have it. A few to assist where you are, larger force to attack hunters. Start with them, distract, then begin the assault and rescue at your location. Siv, is there water near? Can you get them away on the Narwhal once we get them out of captivity?"

"Not for a good two miles" she says

A pause "I think we're looking for who to send to help us... I'm guessing Tiffany would bring the boom sticks... "A pause thenn "Daggmar would also be a good pick here because Symon works well with her and she's a damn good fighter. IF she doesn't prefer the big raid on the hunters"

He glances to Siv, and whispers, "Can you metamorph the centaurs? Or are they too... " He wiggles fingers, "Obscura Magica?"

He has moved over to where the mic on Siv's phone should be able to pick up his voice.

Siv smiles "I can shrink tthem and put them in a bag if I need be and good point" She repeats that "I can shrink them and put htem in a bag"

Brekke says, "Agreed. Your father and Gerd, both can help get them clear and away." A pause. "Siv, is Leech titled?"

Brekke blinks at that. "Well...that would change matters a great deal." She reports to the others, "She can shrink them and put them in a bag." Then back to Siv, "If you can do that...Siv...can you sneak them out without our intervention at all? Should we only focus on Leech?"

"Common as they come, mother... though he's got money and treasures aplenty"

"Any nobles in his personal staff that you've seen?"

"Only sidhe I've heard of was that commoner scathath"

Symon nods to Siv. "A redcap and troll on the admin side." And lets Siv share intel about other hunters she may have chatted with.

Brekke looks at Olgar, then says to the phone, "I have an idea about the wards. There may not be any explosions. Symon, will you be on the inside with Siv?"

Symon looks to Siv, questioning.

"Oh. Chief." He whispers. "Is Dagmar there?"
