Brekke receives them, managing the text medium as best she can...and occasionally passing it over to Kerri when she needs a break from the tiny, awful screen.

Annd of all things, Vali looks nervous

That...is never a good sign. Brekke takes him aside. "Tell me your thoughts."

"Sorry, Chief, letting personal things getting in the way of the situation. " He says truthfully, "I think we're going to win the fight but that's not a vision."

"I .. may have a favor to ask later"

She gives him a serious look. "Yes? But you do not wish to ask it now?"

"Okay fine.. remember that acorn that you never want to use?"

It takes her a moment, but then she blinks and colors slightly. "Oh. Ah. Yes."

"Yeah.. my wife has been acting funny, added a few clues..and I toally missed them. Go a clue that works, came back and.. I think she wants a kid. " A worried look "I am NOT telling her about the Moobulator"

Whatever reaction Brekke had to that last part is quickly stifled under a sober nod. "Vali, I have no objection to this. And..." she rests a hand on his shoulder "...you will be fine."

A DEEP Breathe

"Thanks. I try looking innto the future. I want to be SURE... but Im. I'm getting nothing vision wise abou who he or she might be"

An amused look. "Why do you think that is a set quantity? Likely Da'an has no idea yet, either."

"That's inconvenient" Vali grumphs, then looks at her, "you'e amused by this." A bit of an accusation "Oh god , if I have a kid you older couples will be chowinng down on popcorn or worse makinng commentary.. or both, aren't you?"

She clears her throat. "Would I do that?" Oh, of course she would.

A chuckle "Karma, you hear about it, but you never think it will happen to you"

"Mm. Well, first you had best be certain. Speak with her before acting on your suspicions."

"Definitely... and I'm pretty sure," He ponders "Now as for this raid? I've got no visions, but I think concerns about booby traps and reserves that our two spies MIGHT have missed are possible. This guy seems to have a lot of resources. But they can handle it. Also... I think the idea that a Centaur is tied o leech's daan makes sense. It smells of someone trying to hold back fate."

"Mm." She nods. "That does make sense. He would not be so obsessed with the goal, otherwise."

"Yeah, Frank may have some morre theories, but I think that's another reason's a good thing he'll be on one wing of it. He's got the know how to help roll with it"

She nods and sighs. "You will watch his back, Vali." An instruction/request.

"With my life" He says and means it "he's done no less for me"

She nods. "Thank you, Vali." Simple words, deeply felt.

"Most welcome" he bows and leaves her to her planning
