And Frank looks more sour than disgruntled. "Want to bet .... no, nevermind. Can you get a shovel and bury this while I see if I can find Kerri?"

"Sure"

He takes it up

"Thanks." Frank goes back into the kitchen and washes his hands. "Kerri??" as he does.

"Frank?" she asks from down the hall near the laundry. "Just a sec." A slam of a dryer door, and she comes to the kitchen. "Problem?"

"Do you have a minute?"

"Of course." She seems busy, actually, but willing to drop everything if needed.

"Can you get in touch with Olgar? We've got a situation here." and he explains about the chimera bits Jaymes brought in, and what they learned.

She listens carefully, frowning with focus. "I'm not sure I've heard of a Susan making a stir locally, so if she's here, she's lying low. But that thing with the Sun's Apex...Frank, that sounds like the Day's Inn, to me."

"Not sure I'll be able to reach Olgar, but I can certainly try."

"Sounds to me like something we're going to need air-travel for, but let's start with Olgar."

"Air travel?" she asks while taking out her phone to text Olgar. "But...there's a Day's Inn here in town. You're starting there first, right?"

"I am now."

Jaymes comes back "It's buried"

Her phone buzzes in her hand, and she checks it. "Olgar's on his way."

She looks to Jaymes, and notes the scars. "You all right, Jaymes?"

"The other guy lost his head."

"Alright enough" he says. Nevermind that he's got some fresh scars over him, some of them long, and bruises. And.. and she might reaize two cookies of healing were taken.

A bit of a grin at Frank's awful pun. She does the mental math about the cookies, and nods. "So...it's better now than it was. Good."

"mmm " An agreemennt

"So...you've got this 'Susan' probably at the Days Inn, and then three other hunter chimera still out there?"

He nods.

She frowns. "Where's Lane now?"

"With Dagmar and Connnor and Tove.. my house"

Olgar enters in

"I got it, hon, whatever it is" Olgar kisses his wife, knowing she's busy.

Kerri returns the kiss, then turns to Jaymes. "Send them over here if you feel you want them more secure, but I'm sure they're plenty safe at your place." Then she turns to Frank, "Start at that Days Inn first. And...I'll be ready for when you're done." they might suspect that there will be cookie baking.

"Thank you, Kerri."

To Olgar he says "More centaur hunters. Days Inn in town. You know it?"

"Watch your backs, all of you," she scolds them preemptively, then, "Out of my kitchen, go."

Olgar nods to Frank "Yeah..."then to his wife , "We're going. " A look to the others "this way."

He did shoot his wife a wink as he left. but only where she could see it. ("I'll take care of them")

And off they go... to hunt the hunter
