In the morning, Gerd makes up bothering Kerri by taking on early kitchen duties

She find Connor in the kitchen, munching on a bowl of dry cereal. He's a growing boy - well, he should be growing - at any rate, he has plenty of energy - and often goes for a pre-breakfast snack.

"Hey you, you're up early" She moves to him "have fun at Beltaine?"

Crunch crunch, nod nod! "Duh yuh hab fum too?" Mouth still full of cheerios.

"I did" She also scared herself, but after she talked to Kerri and Tifff, she got better. Wudlig was obviously.. frustrated but in a way, him being embarrassed too made her feel better

Chew chew swallow. "Dagmar was something, huh?"

"I confess, I did not see that mock fight between her and the Chief coming. Good show though" She agrees.

He swallows, and nods. "Do you have plans for Sunday? I was thinking of making some cards... and maybe Jack can help collect flowers?" Mother's day is nigh, after all.

Gerd stops, then says "Well, normally on mother's and father's day I. I visit my parents grave in Lousiana.. but, that won't take me all day" a curious look "you want help with cards?"

He nods. "Since I don't have a one, that means I can make cards for anyone I want. So I'm gonna make LOTS."

"that's sweet of you" Gerd smiles supportively. She kknows she's missing something but then, pooka, "I'll get you the materials you need to make them at the store today. Cardstock, crayons, maybe some stickers.. what am I missing?"

"Cookies?" Hopeful. "We can taste them to make sure they're good. You can take some to Loosy-anny too if you want."

A grin "I AM missing cookies. Oh my, what kind I am missing? Coconut? Or Peanut butter? Or safe for Connor Chip?"

"Well, different moms like different things... so we should probably make all of them." He grins.

"You, squire, are a thinking man. Full of brains you are" A nod "I think a medley of many munchies is just what we need"

He nods. "Everyone likes cookies."

"Okay you" A pause "Want to go with me as Buddy when I go shopping? Or stay here? Only downn side about winter over is you can't cover up as much without drawing suspicion"

He perks up. "Yeah! I'll go shopping!" He turns around in a circle three times, chasing his tail.

She closes her eyes

And Buddy is there, holding his leash in his mouth.

"Thanks" she takes the leash and puts it on "We'll go shopping. I know places that let dogs in withou a fuss, which means secret pooka project is ago"

His tail flashes happily, and he trots by her side. Walkies! Everyone loves walkies.

Gerd waves to Edelweiss, "Sorry, Eddie. You knnow how it is"

The female great pyreanness mmphs but wags just a bit

She'll get HER walkies later
