It should be said, Beltaine isn't the best for everyone. That night, Gerd has seized Tiffany, and the two are stealing the kitchen

Tiffany says "We do have a house, you know? We slew the residents who used to live there?" She reminds

"Nope nope.. Wudlig will expect me there"

Kerri comes through the door, bearing empty platters. "Oh...sorry, am I interrupting?"

"Okay okay.." Tiffany says gently "But.. just to be clear, I'm not allowed to SHOOT Wudlig?"

"It happened, Aunt Kerri" Panicked embarrassment from Gerd

A blink. "It did?" Perhaps unclear on the "it" in question.

Tiffany nods "And it was wonderbadrifficning" and gives a HAPLESS look. Clearly teenagers are as hard to understand as pooka

"It it was SO romantic.." Gerd burbles "And wonderful.. and Beltaine was in the air. ..and folks are making out.. and.. and.. " A blush "And I thought 'this will only go sofar' and then his lips felt so good and his hands and I wanted... I almost. .we almost... "

"Whoa, whoa...slow down..." She sets down the platters and claims a stool near them. "Gerd...are you saying something happened against your wishes?" she says carefully.

"NO no.. if it did, lake town.. population Wudlig.. he'd NEVER.. but it aljmost.. I almost.. Iwanted... "

Tiffany says "Ah, you learned that it's not just the boys whose legs go thump?" A light concern

A wry grin at Tiffany's words. "Well...I can't really say I'm surprised, Gerd, with the combination of elements you described. But...you're not comfortable with it."

"I'm not ready to go all the way... I'm not even... I'm .. WE are too young." A blush

then a look "Am I bitch for... for fleeing?"

Tiffany says "Look, first you can't use that word, that is OUR Word.. secondly? I know bitches and your'e not even a quarter breed bitch" Kindly "He'll be perfectly cool with it and totally understand, of course"

"You're scared. It's understandable that you panicked, and I'm sure he'll understand if you give him a chance. But you'll need to go back and talk to him. I mean...it's Wudlig. I doubt he meant to push you further than you want to go."

"What if I lose my brain and go all the.. I mean..."

"Clearly, you didn't. And now you're aware of that potential, and how you feel about it, so you and he need to talk about where you're going to set your limits, for now. Mind you, I'd stay away from Effie and her trago as the night wears on...that might get a little overwhelming."

"N o kidding.. okay. I have... the .. if things go wrong the .. yes. But ... I know he's a good guy and one day I am going to..."

"You are under no obligation to commit to what you're going to do 'one day,'" Kerri points out.

"Bran his muffin?" Tiffany says "Rock around his clock? Butter his bagel?" A nod "one day maybe, but for now... be brave, explain... and if he tries to be amourous just start saying the surnames of the Checkoslavian Weight lifting team"

A dubious look at the pooka.

Tiffany sighs "Sorry kiddo.. my advice is through a blender. If only Kerri were here"

"I get it," Gerd smiles and gives them both hugs

A chuckle at Tiffany, and a hug for Gerd. "And you know, if you decide after talking with him that you'd rather miss the rest of Beltane, that's okay, too. But you have to talk to him first."

Gerd nods, takes a breath, and makes sure she's presentable before going out.

Tiffany waits... then groans "Kerri, i know we don't talk much but thank you for being my mouthpiece"

"Well, as much as I can be. Thank you, though...I wasn't sure if I was stepping on your toes there."

Tiffany ponders then says "It's not reallly about Tiffany or Kerri, is it?"

A look towards the door where Gerd went out

"Did you ever think of having a kid of your own? " She throws out. "Traditionally beltaine leads to a lot of diapers." A look of..focus

Kerri blinks. "That's...the second time I've been asked a similar question this week. The other person was afraid of the prospect...but you seem like you might be considering it."

"You are scary with the swami stuff... I know that I was clicking with Margilita like a lego on fire, more bigger auntie than mom but.. I thought I'd hate little ankle nippers. Now I'm wondering.. if not now, then when? When I'm so gray muzzled the other kids go 'that your grandmutt?"

"If only Vali were better with dad jokes?"

Then a pause, "Wait, you've been seeing other troubled women behind my back? Hussy"

"Well...Tiffany, it's a pretty big step to take on a bit of Beltane impulse. And it's not one to take without Vali's agreement."

Then a grin. "Yes, it's true, you'll have to share me."

"Hurmph..." She crosses arms, then says "Vali is... he hinted. And there's that acorn taking root"

Then a smile "At least you have job security?"

"I do. In spades." A bit wry. Then she leans in, "Well, if Vali is certain...and if you think you're ready...maybe tonight would be a good time to broach the possibility with him."

"Could you write me a note? It might be more official if it came with a doctor's signature"

"Nope. Gotta put on your big girl pants and use your cleverest words to make him understand."

"Gah... " She rises "Fine.. besides, I think YOUR Fellow is picking flowers for you "

Kerri grins conspiratorially. "Oh, I'm sure of it."

Tiffany sniffs, and looks amused at something, then goes to the door, opening it. There's Olgar with a bouquet

"She's all yours champ," The pooka pats him

Kerri has the good grace to look startled and surprised. "Oh, Olgar!" She rises and goes to him. "They're lovely."

"Second best thing I've ever heard" Olgar grunts
