Olgar lets the pooka past, then when hsi wife is there , he hands the flowers, "You left me unattended and feeling Seelie. I thought we agreed that lead to me making a sap out of myself?" He nuzzles her

"We did. I kind of like when you make a sap out of yourself, at least once in a while," she says, nuzzling him right back, then she whispers in his ear, "Happy Beltaine, lover."

"Happy Beltaine, Beautiful. " A kiss along her jaw line, "You got time to make an old rover glad he cut his patrols short?"

"Oh, I might," she says coyly. "I think the almost-inevitable crises are out of the way for at least, oh, the next hour or so." She takes the flowers from him, "Let me just put these in water, first."

"I fear you should be warned, as you bend over to do so, I will be checking you out" admiring "Poetry in motion does that to a guy"

"I fear you should be warned...I've been practicing my 'poetry.'" Indeed, the bending-over is most deliberate and intentionally enticing. Soon, the flowers are cooling their stems...and she turn to look at him over her shoulder.

And finds him pulling gently at her waist "I am forewarned... and yet, not running"

"Brave man," she smiles, turning into his arms.

"I found the rewards of the years worth every risk," And he smiles "Let me see if I can still do this" Fortunately for him, trolls do not get weaker with age, and he soon is carrying her as if she were a newlywed bride. It's clear their room his his planned destination

"Oh, I'm pretty sure you can still do this, old man," Kerri teases him. "And a fair bit more." Then she nibbles on his ear and whispers, "Prove me right."

A throaty chuckle and.. they vanish behind their bedroom doors. Even Hearths who are so often needed for support and wisdom are allowed their moments of Beltaine delight. And even Rovers who have wandered far, deserve spring's sweet embrace with a Beloved. For Kerri and Olgar, it is a night where they can renew the magic they find in each other. And as ever, it's a rather impressive and passionate working
