The Days inn isn't hard to find, and the three close on it

Jaymes asks "How do we wannt to do this? Looks like the rooms are accessible from the outside if we're willing to climb, but we don't know which room."

Olgar answers "Well, breaking into random rooms sounds like a good way to end up with a visit from the police"

Frank nods, thinking. "One of the chimera was 'on guard.' Guarding thier mistress, maybe? Let's split up, have a look around. Stay wary, and send up a signal if you find anything. Keep it low key. If we don't find anything that leads to a specific room, we'll try the front desk, maybe use a room-delivery ploy."

"I hate to say this" Jaymes sighs "We might have to use... texting"

Olgar shrugs "It's the only way I talk to my daughter half the time now that she's moved out. You'd think phone calls burned wilder ears or something"

"Text if you have time, but send for help however you can if it comes to that." Frank says firmly. "Jaymes, go 'round that way. Olgar, second floor. I'll go this way...."

Olgar nods and hopscotches smoothly to the second floor

And Jaymes grunts affirmative, and goes the other way from his brother

For Frank, it's a time for both stealth (not a troll specialty) and attentiveness (Which is)

Frank circles about, to the far end of the hotel, the area closer to the dumpster and with the least parking, not near the pool or anything special (Not that this motel is special)

It's also, he suspects, the best place for a hunnter to operate out of location wise.

He turns out to be right. While he hears conversations in that room, TV in another, and so on... only two rooms have a sensation of glamour

And one makes him smile, for a dreamer is in tthe zone. Some creative aspect going on in there... it's joyous glamour, whatever is going on, someone has found a happy place for their soul. The other room?

That's where he feels things still. He approaches, feels a glamour...

and the veil washes over the area. He's been sensed, though not seen. And someone is playing it safe with chicanery

Fortunately, troll will is strong... and he can stay focused.

Room 100, ground floor. Windows shuttered with curtains up.

Frank withdraws unobtrusively and sigh texts the others the room number and to meet a good distance away that still has visibility on the room.

And he gets his responses, Roger // On my way

And he feels some workings in here. Bunks for defense?

Crap he thinks grimly, watching.

The other join him, Olgar raises a brow "I don't like the feel of that"

Jaymes grunts in agreement

Frank grunts, irritated. "I was clumsy, she knows I'm here. So. What now?"

Olgar says "Already closed off the trod nearest here. Flush her out? She does't know how many of us there are.. sonnen one makes a noise then backs up hoping to pull her out..."

Jaymes isnn't sure "She's got to know what she's doingg is going to piss off the locals. Backing up to lure might just give her space to run away"

"Mm." Frank acknowledges "Two of us stay here, wait, watch. One goes back to the Lodge. Tell Brekke. It's her call."

"Oh come on," Olgar says "None of us want to be the guy that goes back. And the Chief trusts us."

Frank looks at Jaymes, a question in his eyes.

Jaymes ponders "I think we got two different tactics, but it's your call which we go with, Olgar's plan or mine. No hard feelings either way, but she KNOWS someone is out there"

"out here, that is"

"Right. So one of us goes and informs Brekke, the other two wait and watch. Olgar wants to stay. You, or me?"

Olgar annd Jaymes exchange a look at something

Frank nods "I'll go. Stay back and watch." a pause "Think of it like a siege. Lull this.... person. Into a sense of complacency again."

That's when Frank hears something very quietly approaching them from behind.

Frank lifts a brow to Jaymes, to Olgar, and flexes an ear. Behind me.

So when the OTHER two beasts behinnnd them try to lunge, the trolls are already in motion, weapons drawn

It's definitely more of the things Jaymes fought! Heads match.

Frank DUCKS to let the others attack, then rises, spins, and draws!

Jaymes curses as his claymore more SHOVES the ongoing attacker to the side than slicing it. Olgar gets a deeper hit, his axe caving in the ribs of the second.

Frank has his own weapon ready

And can attack

And he does! Knowing he was going out on the hunt, he brought his chimerical blade as well as his very mortal tire-tapper.... and for this, he uses his great sword.

(which one does he want to go after, the one that just got shoved prone but unhurt, or the one that looks nearly dead?)

Frank has a rare chance and takes it, severing the neck of the Chimera his brother knocked over with one mighty blow before it can evade!

Jaymes grunt nods approval

Frank nods back, and looks for the next attacker.
