Eden starts to rise to go join Rikki

A brow to Frank. "Mountain?"

"Eden might be more comfortable on the front porch."

"Hm. Eden? Wait on the front porch instead, please."

Edenn swivels and nods "Yes, Baronleeness" And goes out the front porch instead

When the room is clear, she looks to Frank. "Your thoughts?"

"Eden seems to be. As Tiffany would say, the damsel here. Rikki may have tried to help, and perhaps the. Relationship between Tikki and Eden played into that. All that said. It was still a grave mistake."

A nod. "But I do think they both realize that now. Perfectly clear hindsight. Have you decided on what punishment you would prefer? I gave my suggestions for Rikki before, but I am not so sure about Eden."

"I do not wish them forbidden their animal forms, or anything that might touch their Fae natures."

She nods. "Then labor."

"No, Brekke. There's nothing I can consider in wisdom that would answer. Not labor, nor anything else that recognizes the injury I feel."

"But, you should give them something to answer."

A frown. "I will need to think on that. What of Eden's status? She is struggling. Perhaps she should stay here for a time."

"I am tempted to send them both on a quest."

"A quest is not a bad idea." he agrees. "Eden should be provided for, in some regard."

"I do not have a specific one in mind. But they should at least know that they are not being banished. Eden needs help, but she says she is unhappy with what she sees as charity from the Hearth."

"She works diligently. SallyMae can attest, I think."

"You have no objection to her residing here? If it is for a limited duration, she may be willing to agree."

"Eden? No. Not if things are as tight as it seems."

She nods. "Rikki has a secure home with a father who loves and cares for her. She is not in the same need."

She rises. "Let us speak with them both out front."

Frank stands, and heads to the sparing ring.

A brief stop at the kitchen to request that Kerri join them as well, then Brekke goes out front to where Eden waits.

Rikki sees Frank and waves weakly "Do I need a cigarette and a blindfold?"

"You need to come with me." he says.

Rikki says "Yay though I walk throuh the valley of yikes.." And she follows

At the FRONT Eden is hugging Tikki, then nods when she sees Kerri and Brekke "Okay. I'm reedy"

Out front, Kerri stands by Brekke, drying her hands on a dishcloth. Neither woman is smiling, though Brekke may look perhaps a bit less serious than the Hearth.

Tikkie lets Eden go relucanntly

and Eden follows Hearth and Chief's direction

When they are all gathered out front, Brekke regards the girls a moment before saying, "There will be no banishment."

Frank stands with Brekke and Kerri.

"No varnishingn?" Eden says

Rikie looks relieved but says "And.. the other shoe?"

"The ideas I had for consequences do not fit with the new information. But I am considering sending you both on a quest in the near future. Further...Eden, we would like you to reside at the Lodge at least until Midsummer, so that you may regain some balance."

Eden says "But my taxi duties?"

A brow. "You may continue them. I am not suggesting you are a prisoner."

Rikki says "A quest for what? I don't do holy grails. Attracts too many nuns"

"As I say, I am still deciding. What I had intended no longer suits. But you will know before Beltane."

At the word BELTAINE, RIkki actually looks nervous

"Rikki? You have a concern about Beltane?"

"Just.. I go insannne around beltainne" She explains

"Probably a good time to resolve a wrong-doing with a quest, then," Brekke points out, perhaps slightly wry.

if the Chief hoped to catch the racoon pooka off her game, it worked

"Chieftain...I have a request," Kerri says evenly.

Eden however says "I.. uhm.. you're being nice to me afer I did... " A guilty look at Frank "After I took your gnome. "

Brekke says to Eden, "We recognize that this event happened due to your need. If we address your need, the event will likely not happen again. Do not disappoint us in this regard."

Then she nods to Kerri, "Hearth."

Kerri looks to the girls. "The Mountain is not the only one who was impacted. This took time from my day, because I did not know what we were dealing with. I expended time and energy chasing down you two, and I had to do some things I did not wish to do. You both owe me, as well."

"My claim is nowhere near as serious as the Mountain's, though." A sigh. "You are both on dishwashing duty this week at the Lodge. One of you in the morning, one of you after the evening meal. You decide who does which."
