TXT: Is Gerd ok? He's worried

TXT: Far as I know but then dad vanished..flashed. So Connor IS with you? Thank goodness. Da told me to keep an eye on him. I was freaking out

He nods solemnly.

"Siv is texting me. She says Gerd went on a flicker-flash." She updates Connor.

“She wouldn’t of stolen no cars nor trucks even a big one. It doesn't fit in her purse.”

“Mountain is SO MAD.”

"I know. Gerd's a good egg. Frank won't hurt her... she won't let him, she's smart."

“You promise?”

“I could have helped. I know who dun it. I tried... it was snakey and the bandit. I can’t try harder. I tried. I did!”

"Snakey and... Eden and Rikki?"

She gives him a hug. "I know you tried." Tapping to Gerd. (TXT: U ok? Connor is worried)

He nods. “I don’t want them in trouble neither. But especially Gerd?”

A ttext I'm back in Rivervale with two pooka.. and a sluagh. Tell Connor I'm alive, fine, and I am SO not the one in trouble- Gerd

"She says she's home and not int rouble. With pooka. And a sluagh?"

Connor exhales. "Can we go?"

"To the lodge? Sure thing."

He reaches for her hand.

His hand in hers, she leads Connor downstairs. "Mom, Dad, headed to the Lodge!"

And she retrieves the helmets - BIKE RIDE!

He perks up a little! It may only be a 3 minute ride, but he loves the cyke bike!

And Dagmar knows it. Vroom vroom.

When they arrive, they see Gerd serving tea to an african american sluagh.

"Gerd!" He flings himself over to her. "Did you get whalloped? Whupped? Yelled at? Grounded? Earthquaked? Exploded?!"

"It got scary .. but I'm fine " Gerd HUGS her brorther full and firm "You scared Siv. It's not nnice to scare Fiona. They're not used to it"

He huffs, and looks around for any other pooka.

Gerd's phone buzzes. A text from Kerri: We're okay.

Gerd checks her phone "I dropped them in a lake. Mountain annd Hearth are fine"

Txt: Good. Need me to pick you guys up and help flash the truck back?

"It was-" He stumbles. "It was them, both of them?" Looking to Dagmar. "I knew they hadta trick you."

"April Fools, yeah." A squint at the sluagh. "Hello, who are you?"

TXT: I'll ask.

While blunt, she is trying to be polite.

"My apologies" the man says, a near grump wilder "Skulk is what my friends call me. You're welcome to" He offers his hand

"Skulk got waylaid by a racist autumn person cop" Gerd says

A little crease between her brows, but she takes the hand.

"No shit?"

A text for Gerd: Do you still think you can?

TXT: Yup. Eden had some.

"no shit" Skulk says "you knnow how it is" to the biracial girl

She nods. "Yeah. But around here?"

Another text: Yes, please do.

"Hackensack, for sure. Paramus. Rivervale is mostly... well.. mostly okay."

"Good," Skulk says

Gerd rises "I gota go, sorry, Skulk, forgive me. The tea is yours" She taps a spoonn three times and vanishes

"Weird night."

"Connor, you want anything? Strawberry milk?"

He shakes his head a bit. "No, thank you."

Head tilt. "Well, I want strawberry milk."
