Frank nods. "I think there is real wisdom in that, Margiliata. Your friends are correct as well. What are you leaving behind?" and he moves so she has a path to the Balefire.

She pulls out a gun

"Oh hell this just got interesting!" Prissy blurts

Brekke is immediately on alert. "Margalita. It is unloaded?"

Frank is ready to move, put himself between her and any target.

And she shifts slightly in the same way that Frank does, ready.

But Magilita hands it to Frank "This is a geniune Red Rider BB gun... I did not shoot my eye out, but now it's time for bigger things. This was one of my first guns. And.. oh... right" She opens it to double check "Yup, it's empty"

The Chieftain takes a deep breath and relaxes marginally. A nod to Margalita, and another to the Mountain.

Frank does not take it.

"Then give it, and of yourself, to the Dreaming, and move forward."

She swallows... and pets the gun "I'm sorry , Magnus. Donn't worry, you're going over the 2nd Amendment rainbow..." And with effort she infuses it with glamour, and drops it into the balefire!

Brekke watches the balefire's reaction closely, concentrating as if listening very hard.

Frank blinks, nonplussed.

The balefire consumes it.. and tiny sparks fly from the bale, making odd sounds similiar to 'pew pew' and it's a bit like a sparkler effect a low grade firework

A bit of a grin from the Chieftain. Kerri, standing by Olgar, gives his arm a light squeeze.

Annd the light illunninates Magilita, and casts a shadow, one that shows the woman she will perhaps grow into being... and then it fades and whle that shadow is gone, Margilita looks more mature, more confident, she shivers just a bit, then stands up a bit taller than before "Oh.. so that's what it's furking like... huh, bit abrupt. Could use some modificaions but otherwise toigals ain't bad"

Folks may notice something else- the gun is gone.. but the girl now wears a Bulletproof vest!

Kerri sighs a bit, but it looks like a happy sigh.

Brekke quietly says, "Well done." Then looks to see if Frank want to add anything else as Mountain to close out the ceremony.

"Friends and family, come and greet our new wilder, Margilita."

And there are cheers!

Brekke steps forward to shake Margalita's hand. "Welcome to your wilderhood, Margalita," she says seriously.

"Thanks Chief!" She shakes it seem ing overhwhelmed by the cheers "Uhm.. am I allowed to ask for a Boon right?"

"Yeah! I made you one!"

He rattles his plate excitedly.

"Thanks" Margilia says to him then "thanks everyfurking one"

"You are permitted a boon from me, yes," Brekke nods. Then a brow, and she indicates Connor. "And there are others with gifts to offer as well. But state your wish. What would you have on this occasion?"

"I hope she wishes for cookies!"

"No reason."

"I'd like you to approve me for patrols, I'll use non lethal rounds if you insist, I want it, so Vali and tiff can go have.. you know, a day off, together..also I hope to catch some bad guys and experiment with my bolo bullets!"

Vali smiles "Oh kid, you don't have to..."

"Don't be a lughead, Uncle Vali, me and Gerd think you don't get enough time together. "

Gerd admits "One thing we agee on"

Brekke's brows go up, both of them. "This is granted, but I would have asked that of you regardless in the near future, as you are now a wilder. Are you sure this is the boon you wish?"

"Uhm... well.. maybe then I could quest for something? but..we can talk about that later?"

"Absolutely." The Chieftain nods. "We will patrol together tomorrow, to begin. Now...enjoy." She indicates the others gathered to congratulate her, and steps back.

Frank withdraws with her, and eventually .... well, no one will notice when the grumps depart.

Margililta turns and grins and shakes hands, thanks folks, takes gifts , thanks them MORE for that.. and tells em "Furkin eat, we got good chow here. "

Yes, this is a time for wilders to enjoy.
