She wanted Sausages, Rice, and something 'grown up' whatever that means

And so there are sausages, rice, a lovely side salad, and a cracker tray with caviar.

Kerri is apparently in the mood to splurge a bit.

And Brekke is sometimes fond of a good caviar, anyway.

Margilita looks nervous. She's wearing her nocker best, a mod style 60s dress of alternating squares!

"It's gonna be fine," Gerd assures her "I lived through mine and mine was rough"

"ROUGH?" The nocker's eyes widen

"You look very nice," Kerri says quietly to her as she passes, and gives Gerd a nod of approval for being supportive.

...in her way.

"It was RUFF!" Connor repeats. "But she's not that bad now."

Brekke watches the group gather. She is in her court gear, the gold braid on her Gwydion tabard glinting in the balefire's light. But this is not her ceremony to lead. No, she defers to the Mountain.

Dagmar and Tove brought spicy chicken to add to the table. Nockers like hot stuff, right?

Frank is likewise in court voile, with his House indicated by a great blasted-tree-hilted sword at his side, and rusted spurs on his heels.

Prissy looks ready to murder ANYONe who talks to her about the dress she's in. Apparently Anne Marie 'talked to her'

Connor has a rather lumpy looking plate covered in foil on the table as well. His tail wags excitedly

Anne Marie's contribution is a mac and cheese casserole

Symon is along as well... though from the way he slinks to the back of the crowd, he may have just been unable to avoid Ann Marie's final sweep to fill up her Mini Van.

Frank stands nearish the honoree, patient. They've discussed how the ceremony will go; it is her show to run, but he will facilitate. SHE will be the one in connection with her Da'an and the Dreaming, and she will know what they demand of her. The Mountain watches her for readiness to begin.

Margilita takes a breath "Uhm..." She steps up "First.. thanks for all of you coming ... even if these things can probably be boring as drek. It furking means a lot. And.. I want to apologize tto some folks.. for some of the stuff I blew up, or shot while i was learning as a kid. It's a long list so maybe I should just say- you know who you are, and you probably guessed it was me. thanks for not beating me up or stuff"

Kerri grins at Margalita's words, and glances to Tiffany and Vali, giving them an encouraging nod.

Brekke may raise a brow at the notion of all the destruction that happened, some of which she might not have been aware of.

Siv sighs "It's okay, sails can be stitched"

Gerd mutters "Still miffed about the landmine demo... I was flicker flashing there... but you know, confettti so no harm done"

"And the bomb I kicked into the next yard over... well, they probably wanted to remove those old brambles anyways." Piper grins as she whispers to Siv and Jonas.

An hour later Dirk will figure out that his war wagon did not suffer from spantaneous combustion, but by thenn it will be too late

Brekke quietly considers that she may have some damage control to do...in some cases literally.

Siv tries not to snerk

Kerri conceals a smile, and Brekke clears her throat.

He nods. "What wisdom would you share with us from the Season and Seeming you are leaving behind?"

Connor bounces a bit.

She tries to thinnk of something, anything, then she nods "Trust can be a strength, but... count down timers ? They can lie"
