A glance back to Piper. "Ah, we are not celebrating here. We will be celebrating at Caer Falken. And I believe they have the setup well in hand."

"Oh, yes, but I was certain that the hearth might have something she was bringing." A cheeky grin. "And I don't mind tidying or anything to do my part. Though my REAL gift is that I didn't cook anything."

"The microwave is her friend" Siv says simply

"The microwave is my SAVIOUR. When Jonas isn't around." A fond smile. "When IS he showing up, after all?"

A slight chuckle from Brekke, and a nod. "You shall have to confer with the Hearth." And she and Frank go upstairs and vanish into their room.

"He said he'd meet us there.. as famous musical celebrity. I think he wants us to guess"

"I'm glad I brought my instrument then..." She grins a touch wickedly. "If he dresses as a musician, I must make him sing!"

"I'll join you in making sure his performance is up to snuff" A blink "Oh, you're not being figurative?"

"I've been wondering if metamorphosis may extend even as far as vocal chords. With practice, he might be able to actually get some Freddy Mercury vibes..."

Kerri re-enters from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a dishcloth and checking that nothing needs doing. "Oh, hello Piper. Lovely costume."

"I mean, there's ALWAYS hard work and skill to be added to inborn talent." She grins. "Oh, Hearth Kerri! I was just asking if I could help out any before we head over. Where's your costume?"

"Oh, Piper, thank you, no...it's all pretty much in order. There were some tarts I sent of with Nadeen for Silverwolf's event, and I've already sent along the items I'm contributing for tonight. I'm...well, I'm not sure I'll be joining you tonight. Not quite feeling it," she says with a grin and a shrug. "I've certainly enjoyed my share of Carnivales, after all."

"Oh.... but you should come! The costumes, the music, the treats... you're sure to have a good time once there."

Siv says "If anyone has a right to a rest it's you but.. you so rarely get to BE a guest" the wilder says "Why not at least tour the gardens? More quiet there.. at least until it gets late, and they have food that. okay, not as good as yours, but Mrs Joosten won't let them serve poor goods."

"Oh, of course Mrs. Joosten's hospitality is spectacular. And Siv, you should know I'm not one to avoid loud parties," a challenging grin. "Well...we'll see."

"ALso.. and I am cheating by mentioning this, you do realize this is the one time you can claim to be knighting Count Hemlock, slam a Pie into his jester face, and walk off untouched and no grudge allowed right?"

Sure, her mom might be mortified to hear siv suggest it, but the hearth needs a pick up. And it's due

"Oh...oh, I don't know..." She clearly seems tempted. "After that note he sent with the joke about nobody forgetting that...I almost feel that's not fair."

"I'll think about it," she says with a tone of promise.

"See, I think of that meaning he has obviously been duly warned" Dimple "But aye, think about it"

Kerri grins and shakes her head. "You're a trouble-maker, Siv. One hundred percent."

A look to PIper "Can you believe the accusations I face?"

"I hope you come along." She says to Kerri with a grin. "I'll feel better with more blue on my side. I'm still a bit twitchy at noble sidhe courts." Piper admits.

"I'm not exactly a fan of them myself," Kerri points out.

"We can be a united front then."

"We can, hm?"

"Well let' not pressure her too much, even if she's accusing me of trouble making. ME? an angel if ever this hold had one"

"You can never pass as an angel, Siv. Not with how ticklish you are with feathers..."

BLUSH

"All right, you two." Kerri shakes her head with a grin.

"We'll be going now" Siv takes Piper out muttering "Just wne others tell me I have NO shame, you prove them wrong" but fondly

"Shame is only for when there's something to be ashamed of." Piper quips back. "Hope to see you there!"

Kerri watches the two head out and waves as they go, then glances up the stairs for a moment before heading back into the kitchen.

Her husband is there, making pie crust. Clearly he listened in
