"At least, you'll think it does." Frank agrees.

"Well, one way to find out" She says with a smirk, "Patrols were all clear. No trouble. Sky wolves say they think they smell spring on the wind , well two did, one said they were wrong and they got to squabling. "

Frank chuffs quietly. "Shouldn't show that to outsiders, but I think the two were right."

"Slblings.. always got to be one arguing"

But she smiles "So you think early spring too eh?"

"Mm. It wouldn't hurt."

"The beach was nice" His daughter says "But holy hell.. the kids went nuts.. in a good way but still. Where do they get the energy? How does one keep up?"

"Careful, you're about to invite yourself to your own Togail." Frank says, amused.

"Gah no!" She shudders "i'm sure I was never THAT big a handful as a child"

An eyebrow.

"Dad... the kids were climbing trees, running through the tide..poking crabs without a lick of sense"

He nods slowly. "Sounds familiar."

"Oh dear. I'm begining to suspect I wasn't an angel"

"You were. At times. Mostly when you were asleep."

"Ha" A nod "Okay well, clearly I need to up my father's day gifts games" She sips "So.. who's going to do the diplomacy stuff?"

"Not sure. It'll get done, though."

"I guess Nadeen will double up then" A nod

A nod.

He sips his cider. "Thank you for staying close since your return."

"Well, except for the beach thing and a quick visit to sis for my face healing" A nod "I didn't mind, but I really do need to take Piper somewhere warm again soon"

"Plenty of options."

"Aye. I hope you don't mind? " She says

"Siv, neither your mother nor I expect you to stay put here."

"I know but during a time period like that? Hell.. it's not just strategic, it's .. family" She says "And I gguess I want to make sure you and mom are on the up morale wise?"

"I think so. I am, at least. Your mother seems well."

"Good. " She says and means it "Yeah, sometime in march I'll be heading out for some fun with my loves, and maybe a spy missionn of great danger"

An eyebrow, again. "Care to elaborate?"

"Well, Piper and jonas will want some warm climes and relazation" She says

"And the spy mission?"

"Oh that.. it's not really a spy mission if I give away every detail about it" A smile

"Didn't ask for every detail. But, suit yourself."

"Oh fine.. Baron Kelean has asked if I'm available"

Frank frowns and grunts. He takes a sip.

"Dad, he works for the Count same as mom does"

"He does." Frank agrees.

"So why the grunt? I'm qualified"

"Just wondering what he's up to."

"I doubt he'll give ALL the details. Spymaster and all, but I know he'd not put me up against something he thought I had no chance against"

"Mmm."

"Dad. I kind of like the work" She admits

"THat does not reassure me, Siv." dryly.

"Oh dad" a smile and chuckle

He makes no apologies for it.

And she has learned not to expect or ask for it. "thank you for caring" She says

"Of course." as if he could ever not care.

"How's Uncle Olgar and Aunt Kerri holding up?"

"Haven't seen Olgar. Kerri seems.... well, as you'd expect. Proud and worried."

"Yeah" She nods "Both probably that. She really IS amazing, lot to be proud of"

"She is in good company, there."

"True, but Sylvi really wants to succeed at this hart. Stretch her wings. She's more nervous than she lets on, but I know what it's like to take a chance like this"
