Frank takes it, still looking like he's been pole-axed.

"Please, all...our Bale is revived, and our victories have been recognized. Partake in our food and drink and in the warmth that is our Barony's. I value you all." And with that, she settles again in her chair.

"Eden, you did wonderfully." Dag takes a moment to praise the Firebrand.

Frank wanders over to his desk to put the scroll away, at least for now. Chances are good he'll reread it later.

Eden says "Thanks. I was really hoping to fall over my feet"

Sylvi moves to Eden as well. "You rocked it!"

the snake pooka is beaming now "Rocked it well enough to have some of that potato salad?"

"I'll get you a plate," Sylvi laughs.

And she does.

Indeed, food is being handed out . Brogan seems as stunned as Frank. And Anne Marie looks at Kerri now and then as if DARING her to laugh again .Which makes it hard no to at least smile

"Smells so good" Siv says. She meant what she said. Caer falken has some FANCY chefs, but fancy doesn't always mean the best food.

Food to serve! That looks like a job, and Dag is happy to step in and help with that.

Jack bounces "He Chief got a place for kids like me and you, Dagmar!"

And He Chief takes his spot at Brekke's chair.

The flames are bright , strong, and giving! The table just as generous in its way! Songs flow happily from Tove and torin and Piper! There's a sense of pride even admist the loss, and troubles dim, perhaps even to be forgottten for a single precious night of renewing.
