"Something warm? Tea or cocoa - but only if it's no trouble."

Siv nods "No trouble" And gets her dad cider first, but some cocoa for her loves right after

"Thank you. "

"You're welcome dad"

Piper sips her cocoa, legs kicking happily where they don't quite reach the floor from the troll-height chair. But she doesn't mind!

"I should visit Fenix again... and not just for the warmth. I owe a debt to one of the trolls there..."

"Wel," Siv says "I'll be delivery some food to sis so... maybe go with me?" Siv says

A grin. "You got it."

"That doorway to summer IS rather handy."

"Going to have to tie a ribbon to your wrist as a reminder to come back" Siv chuckles

"If you like it, then you shoulda put a ribbon in it." She grins, sing-song.

Siv laughs at that, her cares banished for a moment

Frank goes to wait with Brekke.

Brekke has settled in her chair by the fire again. Beside her own recent banality brush, she wants to stay close to the 'fire now, at its weakest.

Frank settles on the floor.

Siv walks over to her mom, kisses her cheek, and flushes a bit of her glamour into her mom to help her push the banality back a bit more

Kerri has seen Siv at a distance when she first arrived, so Siv didn't get to see how much the Hearth may or may not have been shocked by her appearance. But now Kerri approaches. "Siv...welcome home." A warm, encouraging smile.

A look at the Hearth then smiles , the smile a bit marred as the face that holds it "Aunt Kerri, " A hug "I'm fine. I am. Don't worry. " Then whispers "Though honestly, the food at Caer Falken is a lot more style than flavor. MISSED the cooking here"

"Well, there's plenty to make up for it," Kerri says unnecessarily, indicating the platters on the tables. Another quick hug, then she releases her.

"Good point.. I.."

Then Olgar bellows "FIREBRAND INCOMING!"

Frank gets to his feet, and offers a hand to Brekke.

Brekke accepts the hand up. Sylvi hurries to the door and opens it.

Kerri moves to stand near Brekke and Frank.

Shyly, dressed in white, with laurels of seasonal berries and leaves, Eden.. Snake pooka and this year's Firebrand enters in, in one hand a lantern WRITHING with blue flame to add to the green "In brightest day, in darkest night, let no evil escape our sight! lett those who worship evil's might, beware our power, Firebrand's LIGHT!"

Well, she STARTED shyly. And it's possible she got the formal delcration of presentation wrong, but it was heart felt

Dagmar smiles when the pooka enters.

Sylvi beams at her, then gives her a grand bow. "Welcome, Firebrand!"

"Welcome, Firebrand." Frank echoes.

"Welcome, Firebrand," Kerri says with quiet pride.

Eden bows back as others join in the greeting of Welcome Firebrand. So this is where she was during all this. "Maybe the blessings of my good friends Brigit, Idunn, and Hestia , may the good creator however you call such, bless this lodge with warmth. Will you partake of this fire and finish the journey for me?" She offers up the lantern

And Brekke nods solemnly. "Firebrand. We welcome you this Imbolc. We welcome the light you bear." She steps forward and accepts the lantern with careful reverence.

Eden looks good, more than that, she looks happy. Somewhere in all the chaos and worries, the deah and danger, this girl has love, and purpose, and beauty along with her, and it is as if, along with the fire, she has brought it with her too. Her delight is infectious.

Frank's beard moves.

The lantern in Brekke's hand roars and shouts, like a rowdy spring breeze that refuses to shush just because old man winter is around . It burns with the hope of a warmth of spirit as much as season , and Brekke can see the tired embers and flames of Rivervale rise just a bit in a kind of relief.

Brekke grins, and she murmurs a quiet, "Welcome," to the flames themselves. Then she turns and opens the lantern, and moves the flame close so it might join Rivervale's source.

And it does. Jack Flap claps wildly as he hops and dances to see. he is not the only childling so thrilled

And the lantern's seed of fire into the good soil that is the embers of the Lodge brings the balefire they know and love to a magnificent surge and swell, a roar of her own so to speak!

"Ah," Brekke nods approval. "There." She straightens and returns the now-vacant lantern to Eden. She then looks to the group. "Imbolc Blessings to us all."

Kerri beams, then goes to Olgar and gives him a strong hug.

"Blessed Imbolc." Frank echoes

Olgar gives the hug back, with a kiss besides "Blessed Imbolc" as he smiles in his wife's eyes

Tove HUGS Dagmar "Blessed Imbolc " and Jaymes. She's got two arms and squeezing both while Jaymes holds onto CJ

Kerri gives Olgar a very warm smile and another kiss...but then breaks away to bid others a good Imbolc as well.

Frank takes Brekke's hand, squeezes it gently.

And invites Siv for a hug with them.

Brekke also reaches out to Siv.

Siv , havinng given Piper and Jonas hugs and quick kisses moves to her parents and almostt TACKLES them

"Oof." Frank says quietly.

"Ha!" Brekke actually laughs at that, and gives her husband and daughter a strong squeeze.
