Siv looks around for her dad, nibbling a bit at her damaged lip

Frank, having been upstairs preparing to receive the Brand, comes down.

Siv moves to him, bracing herself should her face cause a start "Hey, dad"

He sees S iv and his beard bearad moves.

"Siv." He goes to hug her. "Welcome home. "

She hugs him back, "Good to be home" She says

Piper gives Siv space to greet her father, and catches up with Jonas.

Jonas whispers to Piper "how's she adapting to the scarring?"

A hand held up, wavering a bit. "50/50. She's not vain, but... anyone would be a bit dismayed, you know?"

A nod , glum but resolved and he whispers "Yes, she's going to be understandably sensitive to it. Hopefully it can still be undone, but if it's here to say we have to show her it's okay."

"I think it's rather dashing..." Leaning her head against Jonas's shoulder.

"Feeling better." Not as much a question as an observation.

Jonas admits "I worry i hurt her lips when I kiss her now" Low voice

Siv nods "All healed up but the.. ah..well, but the face" Nod "Strong as an ox. So no goofing off for me"

Siv then adds low "Though if i don't get Piper somewhere warm for at least a few days she's gonna go bananas. Also, you would not believe the static shock that builds on those legs when it gets below freezing"

Frank clears his throat and gives his oversharing daughter a -look-.

"What? I'm talking her walking around... rub rub POW zap" She says

"Hmmphm. Maybe not right away? Your mother would like to see you around a bit, I think. "

She smiles at that "I've missed her and you" She admits "Wow, some world explorer I am. Wanting to hang out with my parents"

A smile up to Jonas. "Just gotta trust her to tell you if so." She whispers back.

"There's a time and a place for it." Mildly.

Jonas mmphs "She's a troll. They're annoying prone to martyrdom and 'enduring" says the big blue troll

"I suppose there is" Siv says then asks in a low voice "how is mom holding up? I get the feeling the tension was ... well there's still some, andn that's with it over"

Piper sighs, but fondly. "Then I will threaten to tickle her until she admits it."

Jonas says "oh sure, she actually listens to you." But he smiles "Thanks. I've missed you both"

"Oh, she listens to you too. We just sometimes need a translator." Hiding a grin.

"Absurd, I'm positively coherent" a bump

"Positively coherent but potentially adorably incomprehensible."

Jonas kisses PIper lightly on the lips "Joyous Imbolc"

She returns the kiss - lightly, in respect of the hold, but with an emphasis that promises more later. "We missed you."

"Like winter pining for spring." A smile.

Jonas smiles "You are quite lyrical." Voice again he confesses "While you two were at Caer Falken, I can tell you this whole barony was as tense as a mliitary outpost. Everyone was on edge. Folks are only now relaxing at all. It was tight as a fist squeezing itself raw"

"Hopefully things will get back to normal soon."

"She took risks I wish she had not, but she is well."

Siv nods "Okay. How can we make it easier on her?"

He nods to Piper "With one of our favorite morale officers b ack, I think so" Jonas smiles

Piper gives Jonas a jaunty salute. "On duty!"

"I don't think she would want us to."

Siv sighs "So stubborn. Raising parents is haaard" A touch of drama

Joanas actuallychuffs a laugh

"Mmphm." Eyebrow.

Siv, marred face or not, still has sparking eyes and leans against her dad.

She gets another hug.

And she is happy for that "I MIGHT Drop by through the door and say hi to sis. Drop off an after Imbolc food bag ala Kerri"

"She enjoys those. And it is warm in Renaissance."

A nod to and she glances to Piper then says "But I'd be right back after a day"

"Mmm."

Siv says "Here, let me get you some coffee while we wait"

"Cider, please." He requests.

"Sure thing" She moves to get some , bumps by Jonas and Piper "You two wan refills while I'm moving?"
