"Sorry, I may have mixed things a bit strongly.. " Cough

"You need to be careful with that. Get some water." She goes to check on his work, and dilute if needed.

Ooo it's cleaning HARD.. but no damage done to it.. but he needs to be careful with it. Yes, the oven's interior looks great

Dagmar gets a silent laugh from Lily (and probably Connor who is not so silent)

"You two come in when you're ready. Have fun!" She leaves the childlings to the hayloft, and the sharing of secrets and staying up past bedtime.

Another boom, and there's Sylvi! Holding up a hand mirror, then giving it a thumbs up!

"Excellent job, Brogan. I think you cleaned off some of next year's grease! Next time, you don't need to use so much."

Glug gasp "Yes, Hearth"

Sylvi catches sight of this as she's returning from the Farm trod. "Heyyyy!" A brief pout, then a shrug. "Yeah, that's fair."

Jack can be see climbing up to join the other childlings

Sally Mae says "Okay, Hearth. I think the laundry just finished. Want me to get it or leave it be?"

There is a kind of glamour flowing as the cleansing goes on, and the sky lights to burn away worries.

Dag re-enters the hold. "I think there's a childling party starting to happen in the hayloft. Maybe we should send a tray of snacks out..."

"Oh, let's see how quickly we can get it folded. Sheets especially." There's a bit of eagerness in her tone.

Brogan says "I'lll do it.."

"The tray i mean" he says

Sally Mae was already moving to the sheets

Brogan gets the trays. But Dagmar and Kerri might suspect the kid wants to be with other childlings for a bit and is using this as an excuse

Dagmar suspects... and may have planned this.

Siv notices and is suspicious "Why Dame Dagmar, did you just get that little uptight boy to have some fun?"

"Me?"

"I mean, I just noted that the kids were gathering.."

"Uh huh" A smile and tiny salute "You want to get the stairway railing, or clean the frames of the paintings? " Dust rag offered

"Railing." Rag claimed.

She nods and does the other, EXTRA careful. "Gotcha. Margitta's getting scary good at explosions and stuff"

Outside, there's a burst that resembles a big valentine shaped heart.. then two bursts to the side, looking like Vali and Tiffany about to kiss.. then they 'bump' their heads against the heart and make little curse signals

Siv giggles

A streak of smoke as much as light, and there appears Symon, who draws back an arm, and HURLS what looks like a D20 of green fire at you.. and that explodes and he's gone

"Okay, that one was kind of bad ass." Siv says

Sylvi enters. "Sorry I'm late!"

"You aren't!"

"What needs doing, still? Mop?"

"Mop would be good" Siv nods "We've got the dusting down"

"On it!" She gets the mop and bucket and attacks the job with familiar expertise.

Soon the stair railing and painting frames and wood sculptures are sparkling

Mackerel scowls at all this activity and upset. The cat wants to know why HER lodge is being mucked with? She keeps it mouse free!

Grousing in feline

"Oh, Mackeral, stop it. We're just helping support the great job you've been doing."

Mmph. Cleaning herself. All are now shunned

"Where did you learn to get so touchy?" Siv says to her cat

"Now there's a mystery," Kerri quips.

Sylvi giggles a bit, then looks around. "The kids can't all be in bed already."

"They're always messing around until midnight on New Years."

Another shimmer... and a Silver Lioness bounces around playfully outside in the sky, chasing a satyr, and then a troll.. then the satyr again

Siv sighs as she sees this "AH well..." then chuckles

"Hayloft party. Brogan has been sent out with hot dogs and juice. They're probably okay."

Sounds of high pitched cheers now and then indicate that they probably are having fun.
