Siv sips her coffee

Dag enters the lodge, stopping to take off her boots.

"Dagmar, hey" Siv smiles a bit. She looks a bit tired

"Hey. My god, did you actually run low on juice? What have you been up to?"

"Was about to say the same of you" but her smile grows "Let's see... went on a simple visit to sis to fill her in on what Olgar said, endured Tweak, only to learn she had lost an airship...crashed checking out the yule star, crashed near Brightwinds ...and then this crazy battle started" And she relates leaping onto a drone at small size to ride a sky trod, finding BW's thanes fighting the corby to protect the the nocker crew...and then her sister rushing up to help her... with her own thanes... "And then the THALLIAN came.. " A drink and she goes on, mentioning the centaur

"And we won... and went back to Brightwinds. most of us."

It's quite the story, and even Siv seems a bit overwhelmed by the craziness of it.

"A centaur?"

"I know, If sis hadn't seen her as well I'd have thought I was just looking at a chimera, but she seemed more you know?"

"Maybe someone had elderformed?"

"Maybe, but the rovers are getting reports of odd sightings in more than one location, of beings purer than chimera "

Siv rises and says "Want a Dr. Pepper?"

"Mm. Maybe coffee?"

"With milk and sugar. Please."

"Wow... okay, I am not the only one who has been through a lot I can tell" And she prepares the coffee. No doubt Dagmar is the better cook out of the two, Siv knows how to prep coffee for all troll tastes with expertise . Pour stir mix top just a bit and... "Here. How's that?"

Dag takes it and sips. "Good, thank you." Siv, it seems, remembered that Dagmar leans more towards "coffee flavored sugar milk"

"Now, what have You been up to?" Curious "Something big seems"

"Well, I got a text late on Yule..."

"The Baron at Silver Wolf went missing, and Dee asked me to help find him. Gerd got me and Star up there..."

"Dee? Oh, DeLorean ..." She says "Oh sorry, go on" Curious about the tale "Was he in trouble?"

"Kidnapped! By werewolves!"

"Holy shit" She says "Okay. I did not expect that twist. "

"No, it gets better!"

"Let me tell you about Nevara..." Were-ravens, umbra, dark spirits, Falcons..... Dagmar fills Siv in on the adventure.

"if it were anyone but you I'd say you were full of shit" Siv says as the story ends "There are were-ravens? that's.. that's awesome"

"Right? Kind of... pooka energy, but truthful?"

"Way less serious than most of the wolves I've met, even Lupe."

"Lupe's cool, but pretty no nonsense " A nod "Oh wow. Bet you can't wait until you meet her to talk"

She nods.

"Were ravens. Wild."

"You get all the best adventures" Siv says with a smile "And congrats to D'Lorean too"

"Dunno, you had a pretty good one, too."

Huff. "Nadeen spent the night up there."

At that, Siv tilts her head, then says "I see. I'm sorry, Dagmar. I mean, I'm glad you two are still friends but.. that's gotta sting a bit"

"Well, like.. he means a lot to her. And Connor."

Siv nods "Aye. Alas, if only the latter meant more to him" A sigh "Gerd wants to bounce a rock off his skull. Still... right of rescue and you were awesome there"

"Well... I mean.." She frowns.

"I don't like him. I don't like how he treats Connor."

"But he's also.. like.. I mean, like... he's also messed up, you know?"

"And Connor looks like his mom."

"No. I ..didn't know" Siv says curious then realization "Oh"

"His mom died. And that messed up the Baron."

"Like, bad enough the werewolves saw it - called it 'Harano."

"Harano? Mmm maybe Lupe could explain that but Fiona would call it a broken heart" A sigh "crap. Don't make me feel sorry for this asshole"

"I don't like feeling sorry for him, either."

Siv puts a hand on Dagmar's shoulder "What I'm going to say is going to sound.. well, I don't know, but it's meant with respect. Mom would be proud of you. Gwydions value honor above all, and you are so honorable in this. "

"Well, I mean... like.." She frowns. "He's good to his people."

"And maybe he's as good as he can be, to Connor."

"He can ge better.. with healing" She says "As for now, his son is squire to the best wilder knight of the lodge"
