Sylvi looks very interested indeed. "Oooh, wha'd I get?" she says, having already given them the set of delicately etched shot glasses (troll size).

When Siv and Jonas and Piper move away, Brekke motions Symon closer.

"Hey, kiddo, what's wrong?"

He hands her an envelope

“I am being PATIENT.” CONNOR grins.

“Hm?” Symon slides over to the Chief.

Bringing a box with him.

A small, handheld one,

Sylvi holds the envelope to her head and closes her eyes. After a moment, she sighs. "Nope, my powers of prediction are still for crap." And she opens the envelope.

It's a chimerical map... it starts out 'you are here' then says 'you are loved' ...and shows a map.. of a new trod hooked up to the grocery store in town ..an arching arrow, and then...to another store.. in Rome New York! Each only miles away from each hold.

Brekke has a small leather pouch in her hand. "From both of us," she includes Frank. "I found a dead crow on my patrols some months ago, whole and unharmed by scavengers. I have preserved its bones. I thought you may wish to have them."

And it says 'you aren ow here' showing the Darkgate fief... and 'you are still loved'

Sylvi looks over the map...it takes her a moment...then her eyes go wide. "YOU DID IT!" she yells, hopping to her feet. "YOU DID IT!" (Poor Symon's ears.) She throws her arms around her father's neck. "YOU TOTALLY, REALLY DID IT!!!"

His eyes widen and he reaches for the bag with a eager smile. Then grins gummily a bit as Sylvi squeals, and only flinches a little.

OLGAR chuckles and hugs her back "YOur mom gets half the credit. She was the one who convinced me not to be a grumbler about putting up a fast track to your boyfriend"

A surprised look from Brekke at the yell. Kerri is smiling, not surprised at all...she knew what was coming.

Symon takes advantage of the distraction to slip the small box to Brekke.

"I only had to twist his arm half-off," Kerri says as she gets her own Sylvi hug.

"Sorry I couldn't have it closer still, but in case there's trouble I can't have it accessing the holds directly" He hands over another envellope "This is a Knight's Heart Gift card.. good for one hundred dollars worth of travel"

Sylvi blinks at the additional gift. "Are you KIDDING?!" She is actually bouncing on her toes. "Thank you!!" Both parents get additional hugs!

In all the fuss, Brekke almost misses the box that Symon is offering. A curious look, a nod of thanks, and she opens it carefully.

'Well, your mom thought of the card to counterbalance the.."

"Well, it only made sense..." Kerri points out.

ANd hugs back

It’s a small figurine - no, it’s one of Symon’s minis! A tiny, intricately sculpted cat - that seems to almost grow and waver with the shadows. Oh, it’s felted from... Lovecraft’s shed fur! Delicate lettering labels the base as “Jólakötturinn” and it’s the perfect size to slip into an Xmas mantle display.

Even the tiny whiskers are real...

Brekke holds the little figure carefully between her fingers, and peers closely at the craftsmanship and then the lettering...and she chuckles and nods. "Ah! Very well done, Symon. Perfect. Thank you." She shows it to Frank, whose beard moves as he nods.

“I’ll make you a new one each year, if you want, until all the Yule lads take over the Nativity..”

Perhaps not realizing he’s just dedicated himself to 12 years of Yule gifts.

Or perhaps he does, with a small smile.

Connor, meanwhile, has tugged Kerri aside and is speaking earnestly to her.

A blink. "Symon, those would be very welcome gifts, indeed." She's taking him seriously, and being serious in her approval. She seems genuinely impressed.

He shrugs it off absently. “Just watch out that they don’t bring the real ones around, I’m not taking the blame if meat or yogurt get stolen...”

And he goes back to Dagmar’s side. There is one present left by the two, but Connor seems up to something.

"We'' get Vali tomorrow, if we gotta."

Kerri seems to be visually checking in on everybody from her seat next to Olgar...scanning the room to see if anybody needs anything....

A nod, and a sigh. “I thought he’d be here though. Guess he wanted a night at home with the d- with the wife and kid.”

A smirk.

Vali and Tiffany do seem to be missing

But not the kid, Margilita, the nocker waves "Right here.." SHe's got a new miniture target collection

Connor steps over to Dagmar, and takes a breath. “I’m sorry. I tried to make a present for you, but it didn’t work out.”

"Oh, kiddo, that's okay!"

A huff. “I tried really hard, though. “

Jack says "Uhm"

Oh, there was that brief moment when Kerri got up to help Connor, who seemed to want a bowl of still-fresh snow (yes, there's still some of that around the Lodge!)...she brought it back and gave it to him, then settle back next to her husband to see what will come of it.

“But it was okay. Because the Yule star turned into an angel and shined down and gave us a present instead.”

He... doesn’t SEEM to be lying. But Pooka are hard to tell!

Brows. "Okay..."

And he offers Dagmar a shiny ornament, only wrapped up in a scarf, he came right from the footbridge and straight here.

She unwraps and smiles at the dog and knight. "Oh hey, it's us!"
