"Oh I promise a LOT of things" A promise in her gaze

Jonas is blushing and that comment didn't help

"Open yours..." His is a slim rectangle.

He does, and yes he tries to save the paper

Within, he finds... surprise, a book! "I'm sorry it's not as fancy as Siv's... but I saw it and it made me think of you. I thought, maybe we can read a page together, you know, some mornings..."

"Thank you" he says and is truly touched

She kisses him on the cheek and then clips over to present a present... well, she turns from Tove, to Dagmar, and back again. "I kinda did a joint present.. I hope that's not too gauche... but it really DID make me think of you both." And it's offered out to whichever of the mother/daughter duo will take it.

Dag nudges Tove, and they reach together!

Tove does and says "How nice"

"Oh, wow!"

"I saw it at the same shop when I went it to pick up Siv's present, and couldn't let it go. They say it's for woodworking, I thought maybe you could both use it... or make a project together?"

"This.. oh, you remember that one box without nails we saw on pinterest?"

"Oh my goodness... yes"

"We could so make it..."

"with this, we definitely.. oh my , there goes my new Year plans" 🙂

But she smiles as she says it

"Thank you Piper! I got you something..."

And a small package is slipped over.

"For me? Oooo!" And she opens it, and.... SNIFF. SNIFFLE SNIFF. Uh oh, Dagmar is getting HUGGED!

"Oh. Hey."

"I mean, it seemed right?"

"And I never thought how much Jersey sorta looks like California..."

"Oh what is it?" Siv gets nosey

She show Siv the necklace. "It's so ME!"

"Oh that's lovely and yes it's just perfect on you"

She is already wearing it.

"Now I feel bad for sending you to Whamhalla." She says, but does not look very repentant.

Jonas says "if I might suggest, Siv, Piper, perhaps you'd be willing to open the gifts I gave to each of you together? I'm afraid they ARE rather similiar"

"Trust the man to be frugal and practical and all" Siv smiles at him

"Are they matching teddies?"

She says with a grin.

"ooo!"

"Ahem.." A blush "Nothing so bold" He admits

"So you want us to NOT wear the teddies. Check." She marks an invisible tick on the air.

But with a grin, picks up the present to open alongside Siv's.

Siv opens it at the same time, and both pull out..quilts? Hardly exciting, but nice.. well that.. then they look at the patterns

Shaking hers out to check the pattern...

Quilts, but the boxes and patches , each one has, in addition to a lovely back drop, recreatedd photos! There are Piper's Moms! Smiling. There's her old stomping ground in Cali! There's that spot in New Orleans...

and of course, Siv, Jaymes, with Piper herself in the center

"Did you MAKE these?" Astonished!

"This is... so amazing!

Siv gapes at pictures of her and her family and ocean shores...

"I don't know if I want to hang it on the wall, put it on my bed, or wrap myself in it and never let go!"

"I did not, but I did manage to talk to your moms so I could get the pictures they thought you'd like best. Not all of it is photos recreations, obviously, jazz notes as a background and the like but..." A looks at Siv then to Piper "I Hope you like them?"

"I love it" Siv nods then whispers low hopefully so few outside of them will hear it "But I can never have sex on it"

She shakes her head! "Not with my MOMs on there!" And laughs!
