the Goat is nibbling on someone's voile

As Sylvi looks up to see that goat chewing on her

“neeeeee—eeehh.”

She blinks, uncertain if this is, maybe, somebody she should know? Post-trod can be weird sometimes....

She remembers.. EVERYTHING!

Crystal Clear!

There is half a ribbon around the goat’s neck. Half because the goat has eaten what she can reach...

A bigger blink. "OH, WOW."

And somehow she knows she has like 15 minuetes before this memory finally gets taken by the mists

The nocker groans "Anyone get the number of that truck?"

She scrambles to her feet. "Okay, you're new," she points at the goat, "but...McKeever?"

McKeever grunts "Yeah. There are goats. Why are there goats?!"

"Neeeeee-AHHH!"

She gets her bearings to the Lodge. "Don't know, don't care, I've gotta talk to my Dad, come on...." And she gets him on his feet, checking to see if the other passengers appeared here.

Nonny comes to investigate Nanny's snack.

Streaks of glamour .. the souls have landed somewhere... they moved faster than she did. . are they new kiths ? Old. She doesn't know.. but she saved them. THEY saved them

McKeever is set on his feet and says "Fine, lead the way"

"This is Rivervale," she explains as she hurries to the Lodge. "My dad's a real Rover. He needs to know about the shakedown...and about the golden trod."

The goats follow them, tails flicking, until they get to the gate in the pasture fence. “Neh-eh.”

"Shake down? I remember rovers.. they were jerks.." he shooes the goats off lobbing an apple "there , fetch"

"Those weren't Rovers."

"Fake Rovers? What are waiting for, we got to WARN folks!"

She yells, "Dad!" as they approach the Lodge.

"Yeah, kinda my goal..." she mutters to the nocker.

And her dad breaks out "Hey kid.. what.." he stares at her "Why is there a GOLDEN glow around you? Not silver, Gold?"

"There...there is?" She stops and looks at her hands for a moment to see the glow before shaking her head. "Dad, stuff happened, and I've gotta tell you before I forget. It's bad." A pause. "Mostly."

He nods "Spill" And pulls out ap ad and pencil "Get with you in a minute, Mack" to the Nocker

"McKeever" the nocker says "And why are there goes?"

Olgar says "You know? I STLL don't know!"

Sylvi delivers the report as fast as she can. The three fake Rovers, the golden Yulestar trod, the lost changeling-chimera, the abomination, the rescue, and... "And Dad, it was Kelby! She's out there, but she's already restored. Her armor was all red and black, and her shield had a dragon head on it. She...she says Hi."

At the 'Fake rovers' comment his eyes narrow but he keeeps writing... then "Kelby? " A pause "house Dannan?"

"House what? Kelby joined a house?!" That last part is just baffling. And...and it's beginning to fade. "Dad, you got it all? It's all written down? I want to remember...."

"You may need your mother to translate my hand writing, bu yeah. I got it" He says

"Okay...okay...." She gets her breath again, then.... "Hi!" A happy, half-teary smile.

"Happy yule, Bridge builder" He grins "Let's get you and Mr McKeever inside"

And in they go, with Olgar calling out "She's home!"

(And a blessed Yule it was, for hope is something not even the dark can kill, and Sylvi had come home)
