“Your conditioner.” Envious

"I know right?" Siv sighs with Piper in agreement "You've seen me wake up. I look like birds have been readying a home"

A giggle.

Sylvi blushes a little. "I mayyy have been tweaking it a little bit with some Spring magics. Fine-tuning. It's good practice."

Jonas archees a brow "mmm, sort of like the night Siv used metamophsis slightly to enhance her..."

"Oh look,... " Siv says loudly" the decorations are very festive"

"AND Jonas, maybe you'd like to help Olgar with the turkey on the grill?" Kerri suggests.

Connor tromps down the stairs. “I serve an evil Knight and must go battle the Dastard now, I heard there is a turkey to also slay and I must help.” He explains to Kerri, tying his shoes.

Jonas looks confused, then "Wait.. Oh" A blush "No I was referring to the other... yes. Grill" He moves out flushing

Piper just GRINS.

Kerri nods to Connor, "You're having dinner there, I remember you said. You're okay going over on your own?"

“All dogs know the way to San Jose!” He says, making absolutely no, and yet perfect, sense.

"All right, then. Tell the family we're thinking of them."

And eyes the basket of rolls. “For courage?”

"Oh...can you bring this with you, Connor?" She hands an entire basket over. "I expect most of them to get to Tove's kitchen, understood?"

Brogan waves "Farewell, fellow Squire"

Siv leans against piper "He honestly meant the.ha. Well, he's cute when he blushes anyway"

A hug for Kerri! And he trots off, one roll already in his mouth.

Nadeen approaches Sylvi "Have you a moment?"

Said quietly

Sylvi goes from giggling about Jonas to suddenly losing her smile. A glance at Siv, then lightly, "Sure." A nod for Nadeen to lead to wherever she wants to talk.

Siv watches them go, and mutters where PIPER can hear it "I think Nadeen's had a rough week"

She frowns thoughtfully. “I’ve seen you dance, but never asked if you could sing?”

Siv grins "Because compared to you, I suck"

"I was taught by Tove, a little. The Song about Rivervale I taught you?"

Outside, Frank grouses about how Olgar is miss-managing the grill.

“I remember and love it. Do you think Nadeen sings?”

The front door pushes open, and Brekke enters from patrol. She looks around at the warm-lit room, the decorations, and the gathering of familiar faces...and grins. A nod to the group as she sets her cloak on a peg by the door.

"No no.. Nadeen Dances but doesn't sing"

Kerri notes her arrival. "Chieftain, all is ready, and most are here. We can send somebody to fetch Jessica...." she nods towards the door to Tijuana.

"Um. No need." Jess shuts the door behind her.

"Jessica, you made it!" Siv says

“Oh. Maybe she has some favorite songs I could play? Not sure how I can help. But it’s gotta be hard to stay in a funk when it’s this nice... with food and friends and.., and everything?”

"Excellent," Kerri smiles. "Set down your things and wash up."

"Jessica." Brekke approaches with a grin and puts a hand on her shoulder.

"You look well."

"I always do." Puzzled at Siv's exclamation, Jess does as Kerri says.

And she goes a step further, to hug her mother. "Thank you. You do too. Been a year, hasn't it?"

Siv looks at Piper "I know what song she likes. I've seen her dance to it ..and it's not a typical ballet song. but it's not ah appy song"

"It has, indeed," returning the hug.

A sigh. “Maybe pie?” Smiling.

“Or some treats for that giant puppy of hers?”

"Let me get the menfolk in," says Kerri, "and I think we can get this feast begun!" A come-here gesture to the two sets of twins who volunteered for carrying duty, and she leads them into the kitchen.

Frank is still outside disapproving.

Jess has no cloak to hang up, but she comes in to look around; not much has changed, which is, perhaps as it should be.

A small smile.

The hall is decorated with bright preserved leaves, dried colorful corncobs, and candles everywhere.
