A flat note sounds, and piper make a face. “Sorry, finger slipped!

"Haven't seen her," Sylvi says as she hands Myrttle Anne her coffee. "Scuse me a moment." She heads upstairs.

Nadeen mutters something low

Sylvi pauses on the stairs and glares at Nadeen for a moment before getting her expression under control and continuing to her room.

Myrttle Anne mmms

A pause as she twiddles the strings a little, then starts a new song.

Kerri comes back into the kitchen. "Everything pre-set for clean-up?" she asks Brogan.

Nadeen 's dog romps and challenges Oak playfully

Oak, not an OLD dog, wags and pushes her around lightly

Oak knows enough not to romp too hard indoors...but all bets are off if they're given some outside time later!

Brogan nods "Yes. I'm told Lady Captain Siv will be sticking around for Double Duty for the Clean up since she missed prep? "

"It's a bit hard to nail her to one spot for such, but she will do it voluntarily if she knows what's good for her." Kerri sounds stern but looks more amused.

"Brogan, I don't know if you're fond of the game, but I know there tends to be a bit of a pick-up football game that happens on and off during the day. If that gets started, please feel free to join in. You've done your duty here, certainly. You as well, SallyMae."

Soft tunes now, nothing specific, just playing with chords and improvising a bit of this and that.

And then singing, one voice, quite good (Not as good as Piper) and feminine. the other deep, masculine, but not as trained or used to singing.

Kerri hears the singing, and she grins. Good.

And Siv and JONAS break in. Siv taking the lead in step and volume

Brogan puts almost a trollish digniified air "So.. mandatory fun , as you command, Dame"

But the boy's eyes sparkle just a bit betraying he IS a kid

Her guitar set aside with uncustomary clatter! And she dashes over- “Siv! Jonas! Finally!”

Myrtte Anne observes with interest so much going on here

Sylvi comes back out, makeup freshened, and listens at the top of the stairs. "What an entrance!" she applauds when they finish singing.

Siv catches the tackle from the satyr "HEY.. you. SO sorry I was running late. We both were. Just so much craziness. but yes we made it"

Jonas coughs "I feel my own attempts at melody were lackluster but Siv did insist..and' A smile" It made Piper pleased"

Piper was SO restrained, she let them finish singing. And SQUISH, she gives a Siv the mightiest hug. “You’re here NOW so all’s forgiven.” Jonas gets similar treatment, but with less checking for hidden stabs or gunshot wounds, he’s not so silly as to try to be brave in dumb situations.

They've apparently had time to heal if they were injured

She pulls them both into one more hug, then releases. “ everything smells so good... even the turkey, I feel bad but it DOES SMELL delicious.”

"Oh, Piper, I do make a tofurky for those who prefer. I'm assuming you're on that list?"

What must a Kerri-prepared tofurky be like?!

Siv basks in the hugs "We're fine. " Then a grin to Kerri's mention of Tofurky "You're the best, Aunt Kerri" Grateful, not for her own sake

Outside, Olgar fights the smoke chimera.. it will be tamed and treat the grilling turkey properly

“I’d have been happy with just the fixins, but I’d love to give it a try!”

"And thanks, Sylvi! Damn.. your hair is really rocking it today" Siv says "New conditioner ?"

“Siv, you have to give us all updates about Dry Tears? I’ll never finish my song if I don’t know the details, and folk need to know. There’s no better way to send news than song.”

Okay, sluagh and boggans may disagree, but she has her opinion and may have a point.

Sylvi beams at Siv. "Mayyyyybe." She gives her a hug. "Glad you got back in one piece, Pirate."

"Yes yes, I'll tell everyone all about it" Siv assures Piper and Sylvi "And I am fine"

“I love all those pieces.if she came back without an arm? It’d be like thanksgiving dinner with o pumpkin pie.” Leaning over to lay a chaste ish kiss on Siv’s shoulder.

Now that Siv’s parents have more or less.... not given their blessing, perhaps, but not objected aloud to the relationship, Piper is more openly affectionate.

"She'd figure out how to compensate," Sylvi says about the one-arm thing, grinning as she speaks from experience. "Okay...anybody need anything?"
