the tall woman walks along her "I hear yes. Baron says she is great cook."

"She is the second best cook at Rivervale!"

"Oh? Second?"

"Which makes her just about the best cook anywhere else."

"My mom is the best." Proudly.

"Ah, you are a God datter... loyal" She approves

She nods. "It's important to be loyal."

"Yes, but.. it is precious, you must find right people to share it with. The Loyalty."

Another nod. "There's lots of good people, here. I was like you, before - no family."

"Ah" A nod "So you know" an understanding of two people who barely speak language in common

"Yup. Look, we're close." A nod ahead. "I have to take care of Star - you can go in now, or wait for me."

"I can hjelp" She offers

"Okay! You've met Stormwake..." She dismounts, to lead Star the rest of the way. "You can say hi to Spark, the foal."

"Oh.." She strokes Spark's nose "Li'l Valkyrie"

"Well, not so valkeryie such a fine fellow" she says as Spark bounds then gets another pet

"He's gonna fly someday." She agrees as she strips the tack.

"Ja" She looks at him "See the shoulders getting stronger? "

Her english is slow when she tries to use words she's not sure of. One might think she's not bright. Just big and dumb. But.... Dagmar can see the knowledge in her eyes. She knows horses

"Oh, yes!"

"We want him big and strong before he tries, so he doesn't get hurt." Simplifying her language, to meet halfway.

She nods appreciatively "Come spring. First High Wind. You watch"

A grin and a nod. "Sounds right." Star settled in, the colt greedily moves in for dinner.

A return of a smile and she eyes the lodge "oh.." And she almost mists in the eyes to see the lodge "I shall be lengter hjem"

"I'm not sure what that means. You'll be a welcome guest, I'm sure."

"Let's go!"

And she follows

Dagmar leads the tall sidhe to the lodge.

And in they go, though Doomwind wipes her feet before she does

"Hello?" She calls.

"Dagmar?" Frank's rumble.

"Hey Frank! I mean, Mountain." Being official! "We have a guest!"

"Hilsen, Sir" the winner of the Joust says

"You remember Doomwind, from the joust?"

"Of course." Frank stands and nods. "Welcome to Rivervale."

"I ...was the invite by din kone.. ah, your wife. The Chief"

"Would you like something to eat or drink?"

"Coffee? Dark?"

"I got it." Dag offers.

"Vær så snill" She adds. Which Frank knows is please

"I'm fine, Dagmar, I have cider."

"Cool." She nods, and heads over to Jojo.

The Aesin seems of a proper scale for a Troll mug vs a Small Person mug.

She is. "This.. lodge, is like being home in Norway" she admires then takes the coffee when it is given her "Takk skal du ha"

"You're welcome."

"be om unnskyldning" She says then searches "Sorry if bad time?"

"i don't think it's a bad time?"

An announcing bark from Oak outside, and then Brekke is opening the front door to let them both in from patrol. And like Doomwind, she wipes her boots carefully.

"Chief! We have a guest!"

And she goes to get Brekke a cup of coffee, too.
