"Uh." Symon searches the hold. It's quiet? The Chief and mountain perhaps sleeping or out on patrols. But no sign of Siv. First things first, he seeks to see if he can find those clothes with the taint from the Balor's poison.

And the kitchen. "Sorry. I don't have any rat blood here, but there's popcorn." Scrounging for the ladies.

In an act that may have horrified the Hearth did she know, he releases the three spider spies into the heart of Rivervale lodge. "See if you can find Siv, or hints of where she went? I'd rather not surprise her if she's already jumpy and pissed off."

They scuttle, scurry & hide!

Mackerel the cat prefers to hunt mice, but she is not above eating spiders, or crushing them under her paws and claws! Ship shape! no vermin!

But no ordinary spiders, the three evade the collared killer. For now

Ship cat, perhaps Ship Troll is not far?

And this proves wise, for Mackerel eventually grows bored waiting.. and moves up, out.. and to the roof of the lodge!

Siv sits there with her gear, sighing.

Skitter skitter... 6 and 10 climb up on her knee, while 9 goes seeking Symon.

Symon is lurking in the laundry room, checking for Siv's clothes for his cantrip.

Hopefully not yet, (shudder) washed.

Symon finds the clothes though something is missing

A frown as he ponders this. Not especially familiar with the intricacies of feminine attire. As long as he can find a piece that had a slice and perhaps poison remnants?

And Mackerel nearly leaps ontop of Siv with claws bared "Mackerel, have ye lost your damn mind? I near fell off the.. OH" she shooes the cat away "Mac, no. I think I know these ladies"

He averts his eyes as though blinded by a bright light and studiously does NOT examine THOSE.
The sluagh checks around - it's early yet, but is Brogan about?

Sexta taps a message on Siv's knee, in morse.

As a matter of fact, he saw brogan sleeping at the lodge, not his usual spot. He had passed out on the sofa, which for him is as big as a twin bed no doubt

Reaching over to prod at the boy with a long toe. "Pst. Psst."

Siv listens "What? Oh... uh huh... " She nods "I see. Well, I'll be happy to have you along.. you spiders that is. Fair's fair. Lead on"

The two of them find places to hide - one in Siv's horns, the other beneath the fold of her collar.

"I have to confess, ladies, while not an arachnophobe hard cord, I lack the full appreciation for spider symetry. though I must seem a lunky thing to you. If I start to scratch and threaten to knock you about without thinking about it, then pray tap and remind me"

"Who dares disturb the shining lord from his slum... brrr" the boy yawns

not wanting to get up but getting

He prods again, harder. "A guest at hand and no one awake to greet them? Some hospitality." He whispers, figuring this will get him moving.

"Yes, hearth' Blink, then A scowl "My house is the house of vengeance, and I can see I'm going to have to kill someone one day to get them to remember that. A tragedy, for sure, but this what happens when gentle education is ignored" Glare "What do you want, Symon?" He makes a face at the toe

The toe curls back up and retreats. Oh, joints should not work that way. "Some of Siv's stuff is missing. At least a piece of her clothes from when she fought the duel. I was looking for stuff for a bunk. Did you take it?"

"I took a sample of the blood , to further antitdote research.. been up all night" another glare, then a blink "Wait, I didn't take any clothes. I don't do the girl laundry." He explains then looks around "On account of Cooties 19"

"I would ask if we should be worried.. but I'm always worried. I gotta get back to... things. Can you try to figure out what went missing?" He shows Brogan the shirt he has claimed. "I took this. But she was wearing other stuff too." Thinking. "The Hearth, perhaps, or her parents, to have something fresh to scry after her. Not sure who can do that. Maybe Vali?" A shrug. He probably SHOULD keep better notes about the capabilities of the lodge folk.

Foot steps, soft.. for a troll

"Scryiers.. umm Vali, I think the Mountain.. Zane..."

Symon looks up, shrinking a bit to one side. Brogan is a kid, but.... Symon is behind him and the approaching steps.

Brogan sighs. He is a sidhe... but he'll protect the sluagh anyway

The source of the foot steps, Siv comes into view "Symon"

He shrinks a bit away. Not quite meeting her eyes. "Did the ladies find you?"

"They did" Siv says, then "Squire, you look tired."

"No matter, Lady Captain" Brogan says with a bow

Then Siv turns to Symon "I am irked at you, Symon. Don't try to Gwydion block me again. "

"I won't." He scowls. "Did you leave all of your clothes from the duel in the same spot? The mistress of spiders is going to help me scry. But some seems to be missing."

"Thank you" at his agreement. He might backtrack but at least he said it. "Oh the clothes.." A sigh "yes, I still have the pants. Took them when Zara got chatty and called a favor. She has a hard time scrying me , everyone does, so I figured the pants I got cut in, with the blood on them would help her. Are you to deliver them then?"

"You're trusting someone with your BLOOD?" Squire Brogan blinks owlishly

"I trust Zara" Siv says, then a soft sigh "And.. I trust Symon"

the last said as if she were about to open her mouth and say 'aaaaa' for a dentist

He flinches a bit. Feeling quite the heel. "I'll take them to her. And.... sorry."
