"If she was lost in the Dreaming you wouldn't be standing there so you mean lost in some other way. Spending more time with Colton?"

"Yeah, it's her choice, I get that, but some days I don't know what she wants. She's got leadership potential all over her, but does she want to be a leader? I don't know. Some days it seems like she wants to ditch college and make it as an internet influencer, and other times she seesm to want something totally new. I know she'll be great, but I sure wish she'd sort things out a bit"

"I know i know... but we always want better than fine for them, don't we?"

"Sure. But not over and above what -they- want for themselves."

Frank nods, swigs his cider.

"Oh well.. as for the trods, mostly safe. Found some blockage here and there"

Frank nods. "It's been a rough year."

"Yeah. I think so" A nod

"Know anything your daughters want that you and Brekke aren't covering? "

Frank clears his throat. "Pardon?"

"Yule gifts." he says "i'm trying to think what to give Jessica and Siv"

"Hm. Handmade and heartfelt is good. I'm never sure myself, always talk with Brekke."

"Well, the wife will think of something on my end but i figured a few clues would help. "

"I know Jessica is interested in mesoamerican Nunnehi information. Siv... sailing, her ship....."

"Mmm" he nods "Siv might want another knickknack for the Narwhal"

"Might."

"Mm I've tried not to DO things for Jessica, but I might have a few favors to call in for nunnehi stuff"

"She wouldn't want you to go to any trouble."

"Got it. As for Sylvi, I think she's nuts about anything make up related still" he ponders "And she does love shows, not that that's easy to get in the age of COVID"
