The sky is gorgeous, and a good view over the canopy of the trees is had.

Dag can't help but grin - this is always nice!

The wind flows through two magnificent manes...

Dagmar will have to settle for hers getting second place

Swoop, flick of tail, soar.... she’s missed flying with Dagmar.

It's easy to forget they're on a mission of sorts, were nothing else to happen, they'd still have this moment of wind and wing

Then, Dagmar sees the lake ahead, and it dawns on her that if the swan is anywhere.. it might be there.

Guiding by knee and rein - not bit and heel.

She leans forward as she looks at the lake, and not even thinking, Star heads that way.

And they close. It is more what they do not see rather than they do... in the sparkling light on the like, it seems every ripple is illuminated, but that one spot where it does not quite fit.. ah, it has a shape, that spot

And once she sees it, she realizes how lovely it is...

"Oh, wow."

Even star seems impressed, canting into a low circle around the sight.

The swan moves with elegance as most swans do, but the chimera has a flow to it.

it seems to have been painted into the dreaming, and by a master at that.

And then , it begins to dance.

It is, of course, a bit like ballet, no.. this is what inspired that ballet, but far more beautiful and graceful.
