"There's magic to it, I can ken that, but no I haven't tried it. Did you get anything?"

A grin and...is that a blush. "Ohhh, yes." She shakes her head ruefully. "Apparently, Sylvi decided that her father and I needed some help in the, ah, dream fantasies department. I raised a little wench," she adds with a sigh.

"Oh my" A smile "She's a wilder. THey think romance and.. ahem cures all" A smirk "It is nice tonic though"

A conspiratorial look. "It certainly didn't disappoint."

"Hoo!" She mock fans herself.

"Of course, she didn't spell out exactly what we were getting. Just 'Mom, Dad, got you special pretzels, they'll give you nice dreams.' Only later did I understand what she was smirking about."

"Oh ho.. She's just asking for some loving payback" A smile "She's lucky you're not a pooka"

"Well, I'll admit, I haven't quite got a solid notion about how to repay in kind. Could certainly use a co-conspirator."

"Oh tricky. I do feel a bit rusty" A pause "And now I"m worried about the wine"

"Well, for all that Sylvi's a bit of a mischief, she didn't mean harm by it. I'm sure your boys wouldn't try to prank you in any really harmful way. Don't worry. Be brave and bold, and have some tonight!"

"You just want to hear about what happens" She accuses, but does not argue "Fine. Kerri, you're a good soul... and I know you are not a big blue boggan. And those who say it do not realize i8t's an honorific not an insult... but may I cut loose about some gossip while I"m here? Myrtlee Anne has been distracted of late'

"Ohhhh, does that mean what I hope it means?"

"Myrttle Anne says she feels like an old fool.. I remember here we're not dead THANKS. ...honestly they're insperable again. And Torin is often walking around with Jack on one shoulder while Myrtle Anne is at their side. They're acting like a family. I think Myrttle Anne is looking for the punch line.. but I Remind her I lucked onto a son maybe she has to. She says she's not even married yet.. and I kind of informed her that was an achieable goal if she htought TOrin was the right man. " Conspirataliy "For all her fussing ,she's quite taken. And Torin SINGS for her. She acts like she's above that, but we both know what a musician can do for even we sensible women"

Kerri smiles the smile of a romantic hearing the likelihood of all the pieces falling into place. "Well, I'm tempted to push a little more to help her be a little less sensible so they can get on with it, already...but that almost feels like tempting fate."

"She's one of my oldest friends, and I can assure you I've been pushing in my way, but she's wise to my tricks so.. I won't object to a little coaxing. I can work Torrin's side. Trolls seem.. well, they are fine with commit ment, but my goodness some of you caN be glacierly slow"

"The payoff is all the sweeter when it comes," Kerri pronounces in her own defense. "All right. I'll give Myrtle Ann a bit of a nudge...hmm...maybe I can get her to pursue her own interests in a way that comes back to benefit Torrin, somwhow."

"Well she is selling herbs online." She says "Not sure how they'll help but yes" A pause "oh.. and on another couple. Isn't Siv a bit old for a tree house?"

She blinks. "A what now?"

"Jonas said she was pursuing an arboreal realty endeavor " She says "And he clammed up fast after he let THAT slip. And other boggans, mostly wilders, seem giddy about it"

Kerri blinks a couple of times. "That's...interesting. She must be doing it somewhere in the woods, unless she's got it really well Veiled. I wonder...."

Then a grin. "Ahh. I think I have a notion. Little Ms. Fiona needs a love nest."

"What? She's got a bedroom right here"

"Yes, directly across the hall from The Chieftain and the Mountain...who also happen to be her parents."

The boggan covers her mouth "Oh my I.. oh dear. I think I understand." A soft chuckle "I... should we tell the Chieftain And Mountain about it? I imagine they'll find otu eventually if you're right"

Siv peeks in "Okay if I get a snack? I'm starving" She is covered in a layer of sweat and ..is that a leaf in her hair

A blink from Kerri. "Ahhhh...sure! Yes!" A welcoming gesture for Siv to help herself...and a very bemused expression.

Siv starts to grab a few snacks, maybe for more than just her self. But she seems to sense, even when not looking, that somethin'gs making both the Hearth and the boggan smile.

"Is there..something on my butt or something?"

"Not your butt, but...." she makes a gesture to the corresponding spot on her own hair. The Hearth looks like she's very close to laughter.

SHe plucks it, and then Siv stares, "oh. " and hastily throws it away "Thanks. Uhm... wasn't THAT funny was it?"

"It really was," Anne Marie says somberly as she can, which isn't much

"Context is everything." Kerri mutters, then sips her tea. "Hmmm...leaves will start turning soon...." she says almost idly.

Siv rolls her eyes but bites the bait "yes, beautiful colors"

"I suppose some will have better view of them than others." She adds. Then winks. "I hear you've created something of an annex."

"Argh" Siv says "How did you two find out?"

"Really dear?" the boggan sips and smiles "You're asking a boggan that? And, of course, Kerri noticed things right away"

"She did?" A blink on Siv, then a look to Kerri "you did? It was that obvious?"

"Well, I didn't want to let on too soon. I don't think it's a terrible idea, really."

A little nod to Anne Marie when Siv looks away.

Anne Marie winks when Siv is distracted

Siv is pacing "Argh. I thought I was being so darn sneaky. Deadwood only, plenty of thick about it. Further out... it just.. I don't want mom and dad to be upset you know? Sometimes they can be so ..." A sigh "Delicate. But they love me and I don't want them feeling bad in the lodge so it's not a big price. I do think I've grown to hate mosquitos more than I ever knew I could mind you"

Kerri clears her throat. "Siv, I'm almost positive that neither one of them will be upset with you...and I think they would actually applaud your inventiveness if the could get around the fact of having to think of their daughter having sex. I mean, I'm much less uptight, but I still don't really want to have to listen to Sylvi in the throes of passion if I can avoid it." A somewhat pained expression.

"Sylvi may enjoy the flirtation, but your daughter is quite the lady when it comes to her love like, Aunt Kerri" Siv says feeling obliged to stick up for her just a bit "Also, there's a reason she visits Dark Gate a lot" A brow

"My point exactly. There, I suspect she and Colton feel less watched-over. You and ...I presume Jonas....need to have that for yourselves. We all do."

Siv says "Look, I'm not ashamed of enjoy intimacy. Like I said, this is more for mom and dad than me. But there's the other side of things you have to watch for, if you don't mind me saying?"

A blink. "I'm not at all suggesting you should be ashamed. I'm saying...." she pauses, then shakes her head. "Never mind. What's this 'other side'?"

"No, I mean the fact mom and dad know I have a sex life wouldn't alarm me save that it alarms them." She says trying to clarify

"Alarms? Oh, I don't think it's that, exactly."

"Oh, well, whatever the term, they're not comfy with it and I wont' have them uncomfortable in their own lodge. " A thought "You know, that 'other side' thing is, well, if we grow up and that sets folks at ill ease.. then we might feel unwelcome. I know that's not your plan, becaue your'e one of the most open minded and tolerant folks I know, but there's a danger of seeing otherp laces as more 'home' than here if a wilder feels they can't be themselves about their family. Meaning no disrespect to either of you"
