A frown and she looks down. "I didn't know I was doing anything to make you feel that way."

"Maybe you weren't. Maybe I AM reading too much into things." Siv ponders "I just...look...you're the popular girl, the leader. If the grumps all retired tomorrow, you'd be chief if you wanted it and I'd vote for you. You have a bigger picture of the forest you know? I'm good with that. But I feel like .." A laugh "Like you feel you've washed me and you don't know what to do with me?"

A wry half-grin and a shrug. "Maybe? I don't know. But geez, Siv, you're getting way pissed off about whatever the hell it is."

"No. I'm not angry" She says shaking her head "I'm confused. And maybe al ittle.." A realization "Oh my god. I'm scared. Ha." As if she finds this hilarious

Dubious. "Didn't think Fiona swung that way."

A roll of her eyes , "Not what i mean. I mean.. I love my family. I consider you part of it. So the idea that I've lost you as a friend is.. well, scary. Really it's amazing being fearless in most degrees. your mom gave me a look and all I could think of was how much I liked her and I KIND of wanted to pinch her cheek."

"But I wasn't losing her. I was just in danger of starvation so it didn't quite work that way, you see?"

"Oh, geez, Siv, you're not losing anybody. I mean, you're like a barnacle." She winks to show she's teasing.

A snerk "Fair. Just.. I don't know. I thought maybe I had done something. Dagmar has been sighing at me some and I realize part of it was I was ah..doing things hse consdered HER Job. Okay, 'realized' is a strong word. Squire Brogan had to explain to me... thank goodness for blunt sidhe boys eh? Anyway. I figured.. maybe I did the same to you? I may have.. charged back in hoping to fill in and make up for lsot time maybe I got in the way?"

A deep breath that she blows out slowly. "I guess...maybe...." Then an irritated huff. "It's kind of easy for you to, y'know, upstage things."

A surprised look "Me? " As if this had not occurred to her " I mean, get in the way, but upstage? I.. well, you're the one the other wilders listen to. "

Flopsy plops up into the lap of Sylvi

A dubious brow, and she pets Flopsy's head absently. "Listen or not, you're like...like Tony Stark, Siv. Which I guess would make me...Cap?" A shrug. "I dunno, those movies are more Dagmar's thing."

"I wish I were that rich, but that's not what you mean" Siv thinks then tilts her head "You don't think I'd step on the wire to save others?"

Floppsy tuts "now Siv. She knows you'd sacrifice yourself. For one thing, you're both trolls"

Floppsy looks at Sylvi to make sure he wasn't speaking out of turn there

"Siv, come on." An exasperated look. "You're not thinking about the character. Who freakin' showboats his way into a hero's death? Stark. You'd do it in a heartbeat."

"yeaaah" she says after thinking about it "Damn it. I wanted to be wonder woman" then Siv nods "Okay. I showboat. You do know you're amazing and all my drama and tadas in the world can't take that away from you right? I mean, honestly, Tony mouths off, but Cap's the one that they all follow when he raises that shield"

A smirk. "Maybe Dirk's Wonder Woman." Then a shrug. "Didn't mean to say you weren't welcome."

"You never said it, and you probably never meant it" Siv says "But if it turns out I make you feel less in ANYWAY out of selfish bragadocia then I have not been a good friend or family to you and I'm sorry about that. "

A shrug. "You gotta be who you are."

"If I feel less because of that, that's on me, right?"

A tilt of her head as if something's confirmed "No. Not just on you anyway. Wouldn't kill me to gain a bit of empathy and take those feelings into account with you. I'm trying to by the way. Trying to .. see from other eyes. But unfortunately sometimes I just have to shake folks and hope answers fall out " A blush "not subtle I know. Look, you're no more at fault for what you feel than my parents are for being uncomfortable about me dragging my boyfreind to my room with obvious intent. It's why I'm building a tree house for two." She nods "Besides, I'm not certain, but I suspect Gerd's ITCHING to do things with the Wilder Crew and she needs you to show her the ropes. I WOULD Just be a distraction to those lessons"

Her apologetic grin should confirm even more. "Gotta find our feet still. And...I know you're still a wilder, Siv, and it's not that you're not welcome, but it just feels like...like you're graduated and you could probably solve half the things we want to try without even breaking a sweat." A shrug. "I guess I just feel like I want to...to preserve some elbow room?"

"Ha. Solve half the things you.. oh good lord you're good for my ego now. Dagmar's the better warrior, you're the better leader. Gerd flicker flashes and is the better cook . Symon is smartre than I'll ever be. Dirk is great at hand to hand... I am so 'bronze medal in every event' it's almost embarrassing. But it is who I am so I live it. Mostly I'm a sailor.. and even most ofTHAT is because I lucked onto a magic ship. Maybe that's why I'm so out there.. .if I make enough noise about how I'm up for anything.." Her smile falters 'Maybe I'll believe it." A shake of her head "But if you need room you've got it, as long as I get to give everyone a hug now and then. I'm a hugger. " a thought "Perhaps the BEST Hugger. there. Gold at last... oh damn it, no, that's Connor."

"Guess you and he will have to have a contest." Sylvi does look a little more relaxed, though.

"Nice one about that is even if I lose he'll make me feel loved" A look "Actually, I could use your help with something"

"Yeah?" Curious.

"Yeah. Remember that tree romance get away thing I'm trying to set up? I've got it started, but ..I kind of need help with the plant life during, for shaping, and after to cover it up so folks don't see it. " Hopeful "I think it's gonna look great when it's done."

"Oooh, like...getting vines and branches to help with the camouflage? I've never done that, but I'd love to try."

"Great. I'd love the help. You know how it is. Mom and dad are.. well, it embarrasses them I guess.. and I don't want them uncomfortable. But I can't keep the Narwhal in the lake full grown for long without risking right of ignorance. So I kind of need a pad."

"For.. romance" Ahem

And she begins to talk about the patterns and plans, how it is coming along... and the plants Sylvi will have to work with. She's quite open to suggestions too.

Sylvi does have a few ideas that she offers, and suggests they take a look at the spot soon so she can plan.

(Fade to exterior and interior design machinations)

Spark races inside the fence line, on the other side, it's Brown Dog... Brown Dog has the goofy head start, but Spark whinnies and catches up... on the third backa nd forth the leader is .. Spark!

Brown Dog doesn't know or care he's losing, and Spark enjoys playing so the race continues, on the 6th back and forth, Brown Dog is.. on his fourth!

Dag watches the shenanigans.

Jack watches this "it's like NASCAR"

"Well, they're happy!"

Stormwake sighs as his son just.. he's racing a dog. Really ?

Spark tromps and speeds throguh the mud on his side.

Jack looks at the two increasingly dirty animals "You know, that's looking like a job for a squire. JUUST saying"

"Oh, yeah. Wash rack is gonna come into play."

"I think this is why I like plants. They keep the dirt in one spot. Their roots"

As if trying to be casual "Torin and Myrttle Anne are back together again" Hopeful

"yeah" he looks over at Dagmar "I think.. I think Torin is like.. maybe gonna do it. You know ? Maybe take me as his son... maybe" Hopeful SO Hopeful "I threw a penny in the lake and made a wish about it"
