Lucia slips in armed and armored, which looks rather amusing on a boggan, but the black wings help it out

Slips in is a relative term. Lucia is no sluagh, and her arrival is noticed. "So," says Kerri, "you're part of the crew for whatever this is? Sylvi won't give me details."

"Oooo I thought you were out, Hearth Kerri" A surprised yip

"I'm sneaky that way. Go on, Sylvi's upstairs. I supposed I should get out of the way so others can 'sneak in.'" A wink, and Kerri vanishes back into the kitchen.

"I... uhm... thank you?" The boggan says, wincing at her lameness and heads on up to Sylvi's room

Sylvi opens her door at the first knock. "C'mon in, you're first." She's dressed in some leather armor and has several packs piled up and ready. She shuts the door behind Lucia.

"I blew it. Sorry. I thought your mom would be out... she caught me. She's curious but now 'hiding' so others can 'sneak in'"

"Ugh." Sylvi rolls her eyes. "Not your fault. She's like that. Maybe I should have had us meet outside, but...well, it is what it is. I'll text everybody else.

When she does, a soft buzz from overhead gives Symon away before he can dangle anything onto Sylvi or Lucia's heads.

And a text goes out to Dagmar, Symon, Dirk, Gerd, and Zane: Let's rock and roll, folks!

A glance up at that buzzing sound, and she spots him. A frown. "Just how long have you been up there?"

He snickers down. "Hearth Kerri saw me come in."

Sylvi rolls her eyes. "My mom's complicit in your sneakiness. Great."

"OMW" is Dag's response.

"That's why you're bringing me along." He reminds her. "Lucia, long time no see."

"I mean, it's not like she's really going to be able to over look a crowd of us gathering here then taking off, but I figure it's not really THAT much of a secret. Just don't want folks to know the particulars."

Outside: "I could have walked, Dad. It's less than a mile..."

"Hey, Symon" Lucia says

Gerd is heard "Yeah Zane, upstairs...if you've ever wanted to see her bed room this is your chance"

"I was glad to finally catch up with you." He whispers to Lucia, slightly aside from the others, and offers her a small envelope. "I never got to give you this."

Lucia takes it "hey? thank you? Do I open this now or.."

Sylvi meets people in the hallway. "Hey, I've got some provisions. Grab a pack from my bed, but it's too crowded in here to really meet, so head out by the purple tree and we'll get started from there."

Dirk is waiting down below "Grab my pack of food will you guys? I'm hungry"

"You can open it now." He shrugs. Something hard, and thin, box shaped. "Purple tree, great." He rolls his eyes. "At least it's not pink?"

Sylvi winces at something, and she hands Dagmar an extra pack for Dirk, murmuring, "Tell him not to start eating yet, if you can."

Lucia does

Zane comes up, "Ready to rock, ready to roll" Gets his pack and trots on out

Inside is a thin cardboard box, lined with shiny fabric - from the logo on it, it was repurposed, as that's clearly not a watch. Inside is a quill pen made of a long, dark feather, carefully affixed to a silver nib. A very familiar looking feather, in fact.

Dagmar is at the tree, armored, with a pack and Flyswatter on her back.

A spare nib of a different style, and a small stand for setting the quill up on a desk.

She laughs "Oh wow. Thanks. Okay, now I NEED to work on my hand writing. You're cool, Symon."

Gerd waits at the tree , mace and shield ready. Bouncing on her heels

Sylvi watches the gift exchange with amusement as she shoulders her troll-sized pack...and another one. Leaving none for Symon to pick up.

"If you need to sign in blood, mix it with ink, regular blood will clog the nib." He offers helpfully. And raises a brow, but doesn't complain about the lack of pack luggage. He has his own backpack. "I hadn't decided if I should ask Lovecraft to come along, or have her cover for me at home. She can rattle around the basement enough to keep Dad off my back for a couple days..."

"She's pretty useful, but if you think you need her to stand guard while you and Dirk are out, I totally get that."

"Jonas will make sure nothing happens to Anne Marie." He says with quiet certainty.

She offers Floppsy a hand up so he can settle atop her pack. "Let's go."

"He better " Dirk mutters if he overhears

And Floppsy takes a position atop his back "Don't worry. I packed a few carrots in as well"

Down the stairs and "BYE MOM BE BACK SOON!" and out the door. At the tree, she looks over the group.

Assembled under the purple tree, they gathered, most with at least one weapon should they need it. Most with packs of 'stuff' to trade.

"Okay, this mission is 'Cookie Diversity.' We've gotta find those kith-switching cookies and get them to Chieftain Clem for her nefarious purposes. Now, I've talked to my dad, and he gave me some tips."

"Is the Rover coming with us?"

"And you got stuff to pay? I brought some things, but..."

Dirk says "Wait... why would a bunch of trolsl want cookies?"

"Yeah I got plenty and.. oh " Gerd looks around "Sorry, thought you were talking to me, Dagmar"

"The cookies were nice. Maybe they want the experience."

"No, Dad's not coming with us, but he told me how to get there. I've got dross and a couple of special things, and...well, I'm hoping it'll be enough. As for why they want cookies...." A pause. "Okay, this is to stay in this group, understood?"
