"Did the Thomases go? I don't think Lily has seen a court yet."

"This would have been too loud though. And probably too crazy." Thinking to himself.

"I didn't see them. Didn't even see Adam...which is kind of weird, since he's been there so much."

"Does he think that it will rub off from association? ... not that it mightn't." He allows.

"Yeah, I think the thomases sat this one out. Probably for the best. "

"Well, he's kind of auditioning to find a mentor. But you'd think he'd show up for Siv's oath, to see what it's about...." She shakes her head. "I don't get it."

"Curious." He remarks. "Well, I'm out of here. You two can pick up where you left off." A flick of a wave. "I think I will speak to Miss Zara. She can maybe tell Lilly what she missed and the best way to skirt the edges of a party like that. "

"You're going to EarthRunes now? After most of the party is over?" A pause. "I guess that makes sense...."

"He's going to sort through the wreckage" Colton nods to Sylvi, then to Symon "Happy haunting"

A bit of a laugh. "Hey, we shared gossip with you, we expect some in return when you get back!"

"Nah, I'm not going there now. It will be all afterparty. I just meant I'd reach out. Not interested in Fiona antics." Seeming amused at that, though.

"Really? Seems that'd be the best place to get secrets, when folks are drunk and high and uninhibited...." Sylvi shrugs. "Whatever works for you."

"I'm not interested in those secrets. An Eilunid hold, maybe... but I'd be more likely to end up wrung out as an old washrag."

"it's a former Eiluned hold actually. Some say there are rooms even the current Baroness doesn't know about." A shrug

"Oh, that's right, I forgot...the old Baron there was Eiluned before she showed up."

"Said to have woven schemes and Da'an in equal measure. Saw his doom coming... and used Coradel to escape it. It's quite the tale but no one knows the REAL story save perhaps the Herald Innish, the Jester Shalimar, and , of course, the Baroness herself."

Sylvi gives Colton a smile, then sighs. "A shame we'll never learn more."

"Well, somethings are best left buried I suppose" A nod to her

He rolls his eyes. "Subtle. I'll check it out someday, I'm sure."

And heads out with his spooky cat.

Sylvi gives a little laugh. "Good night, Symon."

Once he's gone... and seems really gone. Colton smirks

"You're wicked," she said with admiration.

"Ah, just a little friendly payback for him spooking my girlfriend. Of course, even if he does go digging around, he'll never admit he did so I'm just going to choose to imagine he's going to." A smile "Who knows? Maybe there really is a secret room the baroness doesn't know about ? Doesn't seem likely but hey" a wink "Nice sigh. Very dramatic."

She grins. "Oh, he might think he's not interested now, but it's going to get in his head. I can tell." Then the grin fades to something a bit more resigned. "You should go. It's late."

A look at the sky, and the time betrays , "Yeah, it is" his joy dimming, but only a little "But we had a good time. A great time in fact." A squeeze of her hand "So I have you to dream of, in that dress." A n admission "I'm still surprised they let folks keep every outfit. there had to be at least thirty dresses and suits"

"Vashti is amazing. She did the outfit I wore to the Gloaming. Man...that feels like forever ago."

"MM yes. miss those. Well, pool garden parties aside" A kiss on her lips, "I gotta go or I'll never go. Love you"

"Mm." She pulls him close again for one more kiss. "Okay. Love you."

The next kiss is enjoyed, and wiht almost visible effort, he pulls away and goes off ..glancing back more than once until he or she is finally out of sight

She waits by the door, watching, until he's gone. She even catches herself sighing. Oh, come on, Sylvi...are you really that much of a hopeless romantic? A moment more, and she sighs again. Yeah...yeah, I am.

She shuts the door and heads up to her room.

That said, she danced in a beautiful dress, she charmed and disarmed, she met interesting people, and she danced with a man who loves her. It was a wonderful night sure to lead to wonderful memories ,and perhaps even pleasant dreams
