"ooo keay" Siv blinks back at the hiss then answers "No. I talked to him. Also, this was beyond fair fortune he said. It's like whoever bestowed a fate upon the bottle to find just the right person despite sea currents. I think it was a work around since I'm so hard to scry on"

"Well, no. He can't scry you." Oh, is that what Zara sounds like when she's smug?

Siv gives a head tilt, then chuckles "No, tis a rare witch who can scry me "

"But still, give the man his due, if it be him. He bent fate to bypass and save me... though it all hinged on Piper" A grateful look "Twas a near thing"

"Feh. He owed you more."

"He allowed that poison back out into the word, without a single check or hint of regret."

Siv says "Some folks play their cards close to their chest, Zara" She tuts "I am sure there was regret... and I suspect more than one check or that liam hilted sword would not be left behind where August could find it when he dropped his own blade"

Clearly she's gotten details of what she missed

"Oh, Jude may have had regrets for his folly. Tantalus had none - I entrusted him to that Count, that the Liam lord would keep Tantalus from harming another."

She sips her tea. "Well. Tantalus shall harm no more in this life."

"Aye. " A nod "And I shed not one tear for that dream rapist" she raises her own cup like a toast

A little crease between her eyebrows.

"But I understand it was your working that enabled him to bring his doom upon himself, O Witches Three" A bit of a tease at the 3 bit but the rest is ..complimentary

"I do not mourn him. But I cannot toast that."

"And aye. I called the fire of fate... though I asked Caspian for some discretion."

"Apparently three witch sisters called to the Dreaming to judge him as he acted" She says then "You're a better person than I , Zara Scwhartz. I think he earned death three times over"

"I am sad that death was the only path to stop him."

"He burned all his bridges to those other paths, not you" Siv says

"He did, aye. And it is a tragedy, is it not?"

"I must tell his sister."

"CC... he hated her because she aged better? Stupid reason"

"Stupid reasons, yes."

"But she deserves to know of his death."

A sip of her tea "Ah, Zara. " Cautious

"Siv?"

"I.. don't want you mad at me. Nor mom, nor dad."

"...Aye?"

"I have ... " A sigh "I have a lot of Tantalus's things."

"I Looted his material possessions"

"Stole his horde, seized his treasures, .... so on" Sip

"Hm."

"They should be dealt with."

A pause. "Anything good?"

A nod "Yup. For one thing, I had access to his and his compatriots finciaal records" A bit pleased "If all is going as I asked, roughly 50000 dollars should be helping all those former slaves out." Proud then lowers her voice "don't tell mom and dad about that part"

"That's wonderful!"

A nod "Ooo won't lie, thought about keeping some, but then I thought on how that money came about.. what it was to be used FOR... and I decided I wanted naught of it. Using it to undo the damage was the only way to cleanse that blood money, and Anne Marie and House lIam will make good use to aid the folk recover."

"Makes sense to me."

"I also have a magic ring, three darts that i don't understand, a bag of dross and a quill pen made from the feather of a blackswan"

"Honestly, I wasn't sure what was wrong with the others... beat the bad guys, send the innocencts to where they'll be safe... then loot. Why do folks forget the looting? I thought D&D was popular?" A tisk "Symon will be shaking his head"

"Heh."

"I could speak to the treasures, see what they do?"

"Could you?" She says "Sec... I'll go get them" Cautious "Ah.. The ring's got bad mojo in it..." And Zara may remember that the ring was mentioned as a replacement for the staff by omens and signs. And Siv mentioned leeching glamour off of it.

"Well.. the ring, by rumor, is his substitute for the staff..."

"Aye... that's one of the reasons I was reluctant to mention I had it" She confides

"Well, I am glad it is not just loose in the world."

"what I was thinking.. be right back " And she heads off to get them where she has them hidden where childlings cannot reach or see
