"Hey Piper. Good plan."

A chuckle. "I'll catch y'all later." As she steps over and leans up... up.... and finally just pats a kiss on her fingers and taps them on Siv's cheek. "You'll be fine talking to your da. Trust me." She says firmly. "Call me later, okay?" And a smile for Jonas and Dagmar, and she heads out.

Siv blushes "Will"

Siv turns back and says "Piper is... she's incredible, Dagmar. I owe her more than she'll ever realize. And she's braver than she tells herself but you've seen that"

And the sound of galloping sneakers pound up the front porch and into the door. "DAAAAAAAME DAAAAAAAAGMAR......." Connor calls!

Siv says "Hark, a squire"

And he skids to a stop! Well, he slides a bit - his sneakers are missing most of the tread from wearing them all spring and summer... and skids into...

...Jonas!

Jonas looks down "It would appear you and friction are strangers"

"I did see it..."

"Hey Connor!"

He beams up at them! "Dagmar! You exploded and now there is blue all over! And it's SIV shaped! And Jonas too! They were gone FOR-EVER!"

"I know. I'm happy they're back, too."

"You know, I don't think Siv has had a pooka hug in for-ever..."

Siv says "You know, I think I have NOT"

He starts to barrel towards her, then pauses, and looks to Dagmar. "Is that an ORDER, Dame Knight?" Trying so hard to hold back his grin.

"Hm. Yes."

Jonas twitches...and gestures... and transforms into a rat sized dragon! A chimera... and seeks to block Connor's way to Siv . Hissing

And fiercely adorable

Siv blinks then laughs "A challenge for the squire"

And he explodes over towards Siv - only to STOP! And SQueak! "Mackerel, help!"

Mackerel looks up curious from her perch, sees the little lizard, and wiggles her butt

and launches to give chase to him

Siv says "Mackerel, that's my BOYFRIEND... what are you trying to get in good graces with Da?"

But the path is clear for hugging

Eyebrow.

Oh... that might be a grin.

And Connor darts past to hug Siv!

"Does your da KNOW you have a dragon for a boyfriend?"

And a surprised look. "You already have a pooka hug in you! Or two! But you can have another." And he gives her a squeeze again, arms wrapped around her legs.

Yeah, a smile - lurking in the corners of her eyes and mouth.

Hugs laughs and Siv bends down to pick up Connor to hug him around her shoulders "Mission accomplished Brave Squire." A call "Don't hurt my cat, Jonas!"

The tiny dragon flying to dodge and weave looks at the woman of his life like she's NUTS...

Mackerel gives pursuit!

"If Mackeral hadn't helped, then I would have conquered the Jonasdragon. I have all sorts of ideas. Hopscortch him into a cabinet and close it tight, or offer him cheese because EVERYONE likes cheese... oh, I know." And he fetches the container of salmon treats, and gives it a shake. Shikka-shikka-shikka!

"Crunchies, Mackerel?"

Mackerel stops chasing and looks about as if to say Go on?

Jonas transforms back and hmmm

And he dumps a few into his hand, and tosses them to skitter across the floor. "Little bugs to catch, and go!"

"You have the sneakest squire I know," Siv says to Dagmar giving him ANOTHER squeeze "Missed you you little charmer"

"Am I a snake charmer, or a dragon charmer? Or a mackerel charmer? Or maybe a Siv charmer! If you behave, you can be my squire some day." He tells her magnanimously.

"Or maybe if you don't?" Connor ponders this.

"Mm well, I want to join House Fiona, possible i on't get a title" She says "But I think I'd make a grand knight errant"

Jonas gives a BROW at something but keeps his opinion to himself

"SQUIRE errant. And you can run all my errants for me, we need milk, and eggs, and bread-n-butter."

"Do we now?" Siv grins

"Dagmar showed me how to brush the horses, and did you know that it's called a Curry-comb, but you're NOT supposed to put spices on it?" A bit of a sheepish look there.

"Natural mistake" Siv nods "I once decided to sun myself on a sun roof. NOT what they're for it turns out"

"And he smelled good. Stormwake did. Like spicy stew! And the yellow washed off once I used the right soap." A sheepish look at Dagmar - what an afternoon that was.

Dag is smiling again, quiet but happy.
