"Well, he's missed his chance there.. geez, I don't know what's going on With Tikki and her but it's SPOOKY how into each other they are"

"I'm glad. Eden was lonely."

Kerri considers that a moment. "Have either of you seen either of them lately? Are they both well?"

"Oh yeah... Tikki fights chimera that get out of hand at the apartment but no injuries... Eden drives the 'Heart of Knight' rides a lot... but they spend time together too.. I was out with them once but I was third wheel." Gerd sighs at something.

"Symon has been buried by school. It's bullshit, he's smart, he doesn't need extra school."

Kerri gives Gerd a sympathetic look as she sets about washing up after making the pastries.

"Want me to sluagh nap him? I can take him to some place creepy... he'd love it. Jefferson City has a museum built around a jail..."

"Yeah? Dude."

"Oh yeah, and then Salem is totally tourist trap with the witch stuff BUT if you know where to look... oh man, Giles Corey's burial site.. wonder if he'd see a ghost THE ghost? MOOOREE Weight"

"Uh..." Blink.

"Oh come on, that is one bad ass historical tidbit" She says

"I have to admit, I've often wondered if Giles Corey was troll-kin."

"Although, honestly? More likely nocker."

"He was tough enough, right?" A nod "AND Stubborn." The laughs "You're saying the history books might have cleaned up His OTHER comments?"

"Oh, I'm pretty sure most of those stuffy old Puritans didn't know how to spell half of them, so the ignored them." A wink.

"...right."

"Gerd...I wouldn't suggest that you kidnap Symon against his will...but..." she words this carefully "...I can see the benefit of giving him a way to have a break at some point."

"Ha" then at the advise "Yeah, maybe sometime after Midsummer then" A nod

Dag makes a face.

Kerri checks the pastries, moving the trays around in the oven like some kind of culinary Rubick's Cube.

"Kerri, do you know if Chief talked to Connor about Midsummer yet?"

Gerd's head tilts

"Oh, Dagmar, I'm not sure. I was away much of the day. I know she meant to."

"Okay..." Frown.

"Nadeen thinks we shouldn't go at all."

And Kerri catches the head tilt. "Dagmar, you should tell Gerd about the invitation."

"Go where?" Gerd says "And what does this have to do with Connor?"

A blink. "Just decline the invitation? Well...possible, certainly. Especially if you have other duties at the time."

A grateful look to the Hearth for suggesting she be told, then says "Please, Dagmar."

"Connor's sperm donor invited me to his Barony for Midsummer."

"And said I could bring Connor along, too."

She looks aorund to make sure Connor is NOT hearing this..

making a hold on motion

"Yeah, I don't like it."

and then... which it looks clear she goes to whisper mode "why does that asshole keep yanking him around like this? He's going to break his heart yearly? to hell with that ailil jackwad "

SHe looks PISSED " Sorry, Dagmar I'm not angry with you I just.. "

"He sucks, yeah."

Kerri looks sympathetic. "It's frustrating."

"Okay. I definitely want the whole story... but keep an eye and ear out for lil bro"
