"Fantastic, he does say he might have to do it in partial payments and he understands if its a no go, but I told him he's a troll AND a king and his rep was probably good with you" She says

"Oh, yeah, I understand that, too..."

"A King says he's good for it, I'll believe it."

"Jaymes is not a talker, but he's solid. Knows his share of skycraft too. Hey, he might trade lessons in the art if for art.. if you get me? "

She considers. "Probably easier for him, if things are tight..."

"Well, I think he'd want to pay you in the coin hyou prefer..so if things are tight for you, he'd definitely work out the money angle." She assures realizing she might have guilt tripped the Liam "More certain money is from Caesar. I Popped over to KC, talked to him... and he's good! He says he knows your work and thinks it's great.. so do it at your pace and he'll pay you either one lump sum or art by art. Apparently even with seven babies, the royalties from his commercials and real estate and he's doing fine."

"For the apartment I mean" she adds

"No, no, no - he just had a baby. We'll work it out."

"And Caesar, he knows my rates."

"You want a tour of the apartments while you wait around here? I know the way...and I'm bored" She admits

"Sure!"

"Fantastic..." She takes Sparrow's hand and chants "There's no place like a satyr infested love den, there's no place like a satyr infested love den..." Clicking her heels together three times.

"..ack!"

Gerd raids the kitchen

She leaves a list for Kerri and Sally Mae.

And hopes she took things they had excess off and isn't ruining a planned meal

The note also reads Helping someone down on their luck. I'll explain later

and she heads out if no one stops her.

Sometime later, Kerri returns from a trip to somewhere. A centering breath, and she gets ready to prepare some pastry dough...when she sees the note.

"Hm." A smile. "Okay, good for you, Gerd."

And sure enough, Gerd returns a few minutes after that, and she has replacement materials.

Dagmar enters the lodge.

Kerri meets Gerd in the kitchen. "Hi, hon. I got your note. How'd it go?"

She's folding and rolling the pastry dough with a practiced hand.

She follows the sound of voices to the kitchen. "Hey?"

"Hi, Dagmar, come on in!" Kerri greets her.

"Hey, Kerri. Hey Gerd."

"I'm not sure, I left the food where she can find it... but I don't know if she's take the charity" Gerd says

"Hi, Dagmar"

"Okay, who's she?"

"I'm.. ah... not sure" A blush "And I actually meant to be a lot more sly about this then I'm being, then an UGLY streak of honesty seized me"

Kerri chuckles briefly. "Pesky thing, that streak of honesty. Why sly, though? I mean...is there something I would disapprove of in this?"

"Charity for who?"

" I don't want her blocked from the apartment complex roof" Gerd says "Okay so...I'm really pissed about this, but we have HOMELESS satyr... squating on the Apartment roof ... Sparrow and I went there and startled her.. I didn't even get a good look but Sparrow did."

"Her Sleeping bag is like, thread bare... we've got a kithain who has nothing and it's IN Rivervale" Offended.

Brow-furrow. "Well, it probably happens more than you know."

"That's what Sparrow says" A sigh

Kerri sighs. "Sadly, that's the way of life for many fae. Did you get to speak with her at all?"

"No, we came up and she was GONE woosh. If I had moved faster I could have bunked and flown after but I was afraid that would just ...well, scare her away? I ...didn't tell Mr. Dyer or any of the apartment folk. I should, but technically it's NOT a hold so no right of haven so... I don't want to risk it."

"Woosh? Like she flies?"

"She's got wings like Sparrow" A nod

"Cool."

"Hm. Well...let's be cautious here. She may be perfectly fine. Or she may be a threat."
