She blushes. "I haven't modeled - I've been approached, but.. honestly, a troll might be about the only one I'd trust not to be looking for ulterior services. Really, I'm an artist." She holds up her sketchbook.

Kyle frowns, then says "In truth I'm not the best troll out there. I have a hard time not staring at you, and for that I apologize. If this were my office I'd send myself to HR." with effort he does look away and at the sketchbook "Now this is interesting, may I?"

"Sure!"

He opens it up to look at her work carefully, and with a professional eye

Sparrow is very much a fine artist - with lines that seem to float and sweep as much as the bird she calls herself.

"This is amazing work" He shows his wife

Brenda looks over "Kyle, love of my life, this makes your sketches look like shit."

"No arguement" He says looking over "Sparrow, I'm not in the art business so I couldn't do it justice... but I do try to help advertise for charities and such..." He points "This tree, the one that looks like a mother protecting an infant? This might be what they're looking for. "

"I'd.. well, I'd be willing to do a logo, sure..."

"I don't want to get your hopes up, but if you can make something like this for a logo for the charity to use... make a few samples and so on... well, actually you should get paid MORE but charities can't afford to compete with for profit companies... best I can see you making is 925 dollars, more likely closer to 850..which is a shame, because if it was for profit company money it'd be easily over a thousand"

"FOR A TREE?" Gerd blurts

Brenda seems to have snapped out of her own spell "That was my own reaction when I first go to know his bussiness. No, for the rights to use that art OF a tree as a logo. It's not easy, for artists it's like giving up a baby"

"For a charity, I mean... that's rent."

"This would be perfect for their campaign... my company is handling it and we could probably pull that off from their budget. Tell you what, Sparrow. If you give me your contact information... and if you are interested, I can send you an ifnormation packet so you know you approve of the cause and everything. Do you have an agent?"

"I don't have an agent, I freelance. I most do murals..." Pocket patting.

She has a card! Unsurprisingly, there are birds on it. Rainbow birds!

"Well, if you want to get one, I understand. This is a lot of trust up front and a lot of creative people get taken advantage of, but if you trust me... I think I can handle most of it"

"You're a troll, and part of Rivervale." She nods.

He offers his hand again , this time a sign of a fair deal

She shakes his hand.

"I can do it up as a vector, too. Get some variants?"

"That'll be fantastic. I want to be able to show them various angles and shades... and then let them wittle it down. Trust me, if they agree to this your work isn't done...but fortunately it would be near the end game." He looks very pleased "It's a good cause, with the EPA getting cut and so may public parks suddenly facing new threats , mostly of apathy, to help people see the nature in a nuturing way... well, if it makes them think of their moms, then it may connect for them how crucial it is to preserve the green."

"I had no idea you were this big of a soft touch, Mr. Thomas" Gerd admits.

"It's why I don't make the big bucks, Gerd" He admits

"Parks?" A little flutter and she nods. "Parks are important."

"We do fine," Brenda says but looks proud at her husband "But he DID turn down a company once because it was cutting the amazon by the truck load"

"Pardon, is the Hearth in?" Brenda says

"If she is ,she's at.." And Gerd redirects them.

"I'll be in contact soon," Kyle promises.

"I'll be in town for a bit!"

And soon, she is set up to sketch the horses.

And don't they look pretty...

Kerri returned through the kitchen, and found things.. remarkably in their place. Oh clearly someone had toast... but she notes that by slices of bread used. not by crumbs everywhere

Well, they're getting better, aren't they. She's pleased that she doesn't have to clean things up before starting to prep dinner.

"Well, that was mortifying" She hears Brenda's voice.

She turns. "Brenda? Come on in!" she calls from the kitchen.

"Look, we both found her attractive.. hopefully we weren't cre.. oh" Kyle's voice.

And Brenda drags her husband in with her.

"Oh, Kyle, you too! Come on in. Hope you don't mind, I need to start prepping." She has a large pot out and is filling it with water.

"Uhm certainly" Kyle says "Can we help? This is. ah.. a bit embarrassing on multiple levels."

"What he's trying to say is, on our way to seek out relationship/kith advise we ended up almost drooling over the most gorgeous red head I've ever seen in my life" Brenda says

"Embarrassing?" She's confused. "And if you're offering, Kyle, there's some onions to be chopped up over there."

Kyle gets to work. "Sparrow is... I mean, Nadeen is attractive but Sparrow is..."

"Divine" His wife says "It worked out though. We switched the subject to art. "

"Ohhhh...you got your first eyeful of Sparrow." Kerri grins and sets the pot on the stovetop to heat.

"I had JUST been arguing with Kyle that just because I'm a satyr doesn't mean I'm some sort of lust bunny then wham..." Brenda shakes her head "My brain dropped between my thighs"

"You.. were not alone in that, and I never called you a lust bunny. I was just saying that .. I don't want your new needs to... well hurt you if you can't find sufficient.." A blush "I'm not sure we should bother her with this"

"Oh, wait...sorry, I didn't realize this wasn't merely social. Not a problem, just...let me switch how I'm hearing you. You're...trying to figure out how to manage a troll-satyr marriage."

"Yes" Brenda says " ANd I feel we need outside ...fae help, because our track record is not great."
