"oh HEY Star" Gerd rolls her eyes "And here is our own prima equina"

Star does snuffle the hand politely enough after the first rebuff.

"I'm surprised, Dagmar seems pretty reserved." Neck-pat, ear-scritch for the diva mare (if allowed)

This is allowed, valid tribute.

"Dagmar opens up to animals as if each of them had a pooka boon" Gerd says "it's cool though because they open up to her. I don't have the same knack. I took some riding lessons and can hold my balance.. but.. she's the one the animal expert out of we wilders."

Stormwake doesn't seem to be too upset set at beign shoved aside, indeed, he sniffs at the mare and looks pleased and happy

"Looks like these two get along." A pause. "Is she in foal?"

"They got along VERY Well..which is why Stormwake looks smug"

Horses cannot do shit eating grins, but Stormwake tries

Sparrow laughs.

"Well, if Rivervale is looking to home a horse, I imagine Coradel would be interested."

"Amongst others, honestly... I know several equestrians. Mostly Fiona, oddly enough."

Star's ears flick forward and back at this, and she nickers over at Stormwake.

Gerd, who has not been told of the Ailil situation, says "Well, right now I think the plan is mama and dad will keep the little foal around for a bit at least" Gerd pats both horses to reassure

Star lips at Gerd's sleeve. Maybe just hungry again!

"That's good, too!"

"Other than that, not sure. New Agengard doesn't have large stables far as I know and is too urban." A sigh "Okay I shall bring you an apple. I guess you ARE eating for two. mm the DeBukes have space"

"I was fostered at a horse farm... Fontainebleu, near Topeka."

"Ah, the famed and mysterious Farm."

"Oh" A blush "Sorry yes. Please exist that it, and the dozens of trolls wandering around with Iowan accents exist" An eye roll

"Hey, I lived at Firnost for over a year. Yeah, I get it."

Gerd says "Fontainebleu had some trouble I heard...but hmm you know horses eh? I guess with wings you don't really NEED one but... mmm you know you'd be welcome to visit that ranch place in chattanooga at anytime I bet. And they have kids."

"Oh, I've heard a bit! They sound great!"

"Oh yeah, it's Liam run so you probably know more than I do.. sec please.. I promised someone and apple"

And Gerd heads to the kitchen.

A smile and a soft shake of her head.

Stormwake shrinks to smaller size than his mate..though still plenty big. From Heavy to Medium Warhorse as it were

Gerd cord comes out "Sparrow, catch..skeedoosh" and an apple hopscotches towards her

Star rolls her eyes at Stormwake's antics, an amused snort. And then, laser focus on the apple!

"Oh! Hey!"

A hop and a few flaps for lift so she can snag it.

"Good now you can give it to Star so she can forgive you the crime of not having one. Just watch out for Snow. She's quick"

"Snow? Another horse" She backwings down, buffetting Gerd and the horses with a bit of a breeze.

"Nope, a chimerical snow monkey who is a fruit glutton..adorable, but shameless. "

Star perks up at the sight of the wings. A soft whinny, longing. Probably for the apple. A hoof paws the earth.

"Here you go..." Apple offered!

She accepts the apple gently, crunching, then leans a long neck over to nuzzle curiously at the wings.

They rustle a bit. "Hey! That tickles!"

"Oh she can have wings too sometime. Magic saddle" Gerd explains

She does, however, extend them - they're actually quite large, nearly twice her height at full spread.

"Maybe she thinks I have a magic saddle, too?"

A soft snort as the feathers ticket her nose too, and she pulls back before sneezing downward, a puff of dust into the air from the packed earth near the paddock entrance.

Stormwake nuzzles a wing from another side
