"Stormwake, you goober... I got an apple for you over here" Gerd lures

And Stormwake deserts his mare and the odd winged sidhe like that.

Another laugh.

"Think you got a good idea of their looks enough to paint them? Dagmar is VERY particular about getting Star's star right, or Stormwake's eyes correct"

"Well, a photo wouldn't hurt... but yes. Oh, do you think anybody would mind if I came out here and sketched? That'd be even better... I could work out ideas..."

"Are you kidding? The horses like the company even if they won't admit it and you're always welcome here."

"I brought my sketchbook! It's in the lodge!"

"Oh sure... " Gerd says "Hold on, let me set up a stool for you we got one that's not so high up you'll feel short" And she digs for that while Sparrow gets her sketchbook

A quick sprint and... oh! She launches!

Her bronze and copper feathers glint in the June sun as the currents make the jaunt quick.

"Wow..she's something" Gerd says then sets the stool up

A strident whinny accompanies the winged sidhe into the air, and Star gallops along underneath as close as she may.

"Oh wow, someone is missing her own wings" Gerd notes

"It's insane is what it is..." a woman's voice "I am getting tired of folks assuming that because I'm a satyress i am some tramp"

"I am not blaming you, but if it hurts you somehow.. hinders you... I mean, CC says a system CAN work ...then yes. I think maybe it's best. I know how hard this change is has been on you" This i sa man's voice

"You SAY you are okay with it, but you're a troll now.... and they value hyonor, duty, loyalty.. and here you are saying 'go be disloyal'" A snort

"No I'm saying it's possible that you're loyal but still ah.. have needs" Mr. Thomas comes into view. His wife by his side.

Star has slowed her gallop and returns to the stable for a drink.

They are unaware anyone with two legs is about

"Look, at this stage the only way this FEELS right is if you have someone on the side too... OR.. we share someone" Mrs. Thomas says

"I am NOT cheating on you" He snorts

"You just..argh" Brenda sighs

"Looking good, Star" Gerd says loud enough so folks will know she's there

Sparrow wings her way back, enjoying the freedom that the lodge's privacy allows - no mortal eyes, no risk!

She circles OVER the stableyard before descending in lazy arcs.

And then both Thomas' start to quiet... realizing there are people outside today. Then they catch few of Sparrow.

Brenda is a grump, but fit and toned and she takes care of herself. Kyle does much the same.

Brenda does have rather large horns for a female satyress... but as her eyes fall onto the sidhe she goes "oh..." and desire burns

Kyle totally forgets his own trollish reserve and admires as well. In their defense, Sparrow is a beauty even among sidhe- and also? WINGS!

The redhead lands and offers a smile and a hand. "Oh, hello! I haven't met you yet. I'm Sparrow, a guest of the Mountain."

"Hi..." Brenda says almost breathy ... she wants to write sonnets about this beautiful creature before her, odes and ... she focuses with effort, "I'm Brenda. This is Kyle." Did I forget to mention we were married?

Kyle apparently forgets it as well . As each takes a turn shaking Sparrow's hand, Kyle manages a "Nice... nice to meet you"

"Lovely to meet you both!"

"The Thomas' are still fledges," Gerd says "Odd situation... rough start but they're learning. THey have Adam who is a .. well, complicated... and then there's Lily, a little sluagh girl."

"Three in one family, all different kiths? That is unusual. Well, welcome to the world. Are you enjoying your studies?"

"It's.. been challenging" Kyle says "But we wouldn't want to complain."

Brenda finds herself tucking her hair behind an ear "Oh. I've made a mess of things. "A blush "or three"

Gerd says "Sparrow is a Liam like Sir Carowyn or Mountain Frank."

"Standard practice for a fledge. Mistakes are part of learning."

"And yes, Liam. If you are getting the woodgies."

"Certainly not, no woodgies from you" Kyle asserts

"You're very lovely" Brenda says then catches herself "I am so sorry. We.. w're not used to many sidhe period."

Kyle coughs into his hand "Yes, apologies. Nadeen is nice but we don't see her often"

"Oh.." Blush, shrug. "Gift of the kith. No more to it than a troll being strong."

"Arguably, the latter is more useful."

"Don't be so sure" Kyle says "i work in advertising"

Gerd actually laughs at that

A laugh. "Maybe I should ask you for a job then."

"You need one? I don't know if you've modeled professionally but I assure you even if they can't see your seeming you'd stun and many places would pay just to have you hold up their product and smile" Kyle says "Men are shallow"

"Not just the guys, honey" Brenda says to her husband
