She sniffs the air. "Oh, that smells good. Tove needs to get her strength back I'm sure."

"Oh, sure... man, everybody's been bringing food. Thanks, Adam."

"Anytime, Dag." He grins.

"Hey. Just dropping by" Siv says

Adam gives Siv a chin lift. "Yeah? Well. Good to see ya."

He wanders over to Piper. "Hi." with a grin.

She gives Siv a quick squeeze on one hand, and then stretching up on tiptoes, a peck on the cheek! "Thanks again for the escort! But you should say hi to your parents before you go home. Otherwise they might fuss."

She cracks the box to see what's inside.

And she whispers a quick thanks in Siv's ear while up there, before dropping back down and turning to Adam. "It was awful nice of you to bring a pizza for the Kings."

"You're welcome and I will"

The pizza looks to be half very hot peppers and fancy stuff, half cheese with beef.

Adam grins at the exchange between satyr and troll. "Good, you got a chance to get together! Piper said she wanted to track you down, Siv." He slides an arm around Piper (assuming she lets him).

She nods and lets the arm rest round her waist. "It's nice out tonight... want to go for a walk?"

"Oh, Tove'll like this..."

"Sure." He agrees easily.

"Excuse us, Dagmar, Jack..." And a smile to the wee satyr.

"She did? huh" Siv smiles "well I'm glad she did"

Jack sighs "It's so hard finding someone who can give me pet privilieges"

"Good to see you, Siv. Congrats and all, Dag!"

"Later, Adam. Congrats on the Crash of the Storm honor"

"And have a nice walk you two"

"Well, I'm sure Kerri will be back."

"And I'll be happy to be there when you talk to her. Maybe... oh, maybe you could show you are ready for a pet by helping out with the dogs."

"With Gerd moved out, especially..."

And Adam will walk on with Piper.

"Well, Gerd has Eddie with her a lot but I think she's keeping her here again to help calm.." he lowers his voice "C-O-N-N-e..ero? R"

A paw twitches, but he is deep in a snoozle.

"Right, but there's Oak and Brown Dog, too..."

"Well, oaky... I guess duty is duty... and they do make doody so they need walks outside"

"Exactly. Then, when they see how good you are, how could they say no?"

He puffs up "Yeah, because deeds earn honors.. and maybe a pet rat or something!"

"Maybe! Oh, I read about them - rats are so smart!"

"And they bond really well with people..."

"Yeah? Huh!"

She nods. "They can learn tricks, and have a lot of personality."

"...I'm nto allowed another pet, but, oh, rats are very cool."

"Well, you only got like...a warhorse, a cat, a dog which you share with your dad, and a little flying horse you share with your mom right? So you only really got TWO all your own. " He pauses then thinks "Maybe.. maybe your little brother needs a pet? BUT..because he's SO small, you have to take care of that pet for him?"

"Welllll... I don't think anything new until he's a bit bigger."

"I coudl get a bird maybe. I saw an owl by the boathouse, but I don't think the owl wants to be a pet"

"Solstice does NOT want to be a pet." Sigh.

"Oh, the owl has a name? COOL"

She nods. "She'd been hurt, and healed. But she's wild, and it's wrong to cage a wild thing."

"Yes. You hafta respect the balance" He nods

"If you stay very still and watch, though, she'll be polite enough to ignore you and do her thing."

"SO quiet when they fly"

Dagmar nods. "She's amazing."

"Really taking care of mice on the ship too" A nod "Flopsy doesn't like Solstice much...even though Soltice shouldn't see him"

"I'm.. not entirely certain Solstice doesn't see some things?"

"Animals are less banal. Odin, I'm almost entirely sure does..."

"Huh.. Odin sees things in the stories... so maybe a cat with that name knows some of Odin's secrets? Zane says even casual names have meanings and for us that can .. uhm..coax Da'an"
