Jack Flap, a good boy, offers the soaking wet Vali a single paper towel

"Thanks." Vali says

Connor has climbed up the ladder behind him... CANNONBALL! And just as Vali was wiping his face with the single paper towel... SPLOOSH again. Likely splashing poor Jack as well!

Vali blinks "Cloudy with a chance of pooka"

"Hey, could we go swim in the lake?"

Tiffany motions to Dagmar "Hey champ.. for slaying the beast you get a beast" She gestures to the prize table. There are TEN stuffed animals (Sadly for Sluagh not the taxidermied sort)- one is an Owl that look a lot like Solstice, THere are two horses that are squeezable small versions of Star and Stormwake, there's a winged wolf.

In short, lots of critters in the wood or at the houses have duplicates.

Adam seems contact-proud of Piper AND Dagmar.

"What about you, Ricki, you got plans for the summer?"

"Me? Nope. Pure innocence" Rikki says

"How do you pick?" Torn.

"Well, I have the real Star..." She selects the winged wolf.

Nadeen says "The wolf IS pretty" she nods

Vali grins "Well, if someone talks me into going up again.. you might win another"

"Well, you could have purely innocent plans." Adam points out.

"Don't want to be greedy..."

Rikki looks impressed at Adam, "You're not nearly as big a sap as you seem. Congrats"

The Kinain nods. "Thanks. Ya know, if it were any other time, like, not all plaguey, I'd love to get a movie or dinner or something with you."

"Maybe we could get take-out and eat somewhere like a private spot in the park or at the lake?"

"Oh gosh that's sweet but , " Rikki pats him, "I think your contact list is full"

Nadeen says "Fine. I'll give it a shot. Sir Vali, please get back up there"

Vali raises a brow, "Don't I get time to dry off first?"

"Why bother?" She points out, "Please?"

"I'll make time. Unless, uh, you're seeing someone? Exclusively?"

"I have a canadian boyfriend" Rikki nods "He's dumb as a brick but at least he only counts to one"

"Canadian?" Good naturedly skeptical.

"He's as real a boyfriend as you are, when you think about it" Rikki smiles.. "Pardon, I have to go get a hot dog" And slips free

A sigh, and he watches her go. "What the hell does that mean....?"

Brekke has been chuckling and applauding, and outright laughing when Vali goes into the water.

Olgar tags out with Vali, and gets into the dunking booth

Frank carefully monitors his beer can chicken.

Sylvi bites her lip, clearly aching to take a shot.

Colton starts digging his his pockets

"Oh, I've got the money, I just...don't know if I should...." The urge for mischief wars with filial piety.

"I love you, but honestly I was doing this for me" Colton blushes

"Oh, GO for it!" She all but shoves him off the bench they're sitting on. "My hero," she adds, batting her eyes campily.

"Come on , big guy... need coaching?" Olgar is good at egging folks on "Spread your stance.. and try not to be scared of the old man" The ugly grin. Seelie he might be, but this is the guy who snatched away his little girl so he can give Colton a hard time

Colton looks at Sylvi, grins, then nods at Olgar "With respect, Rover... you're going down." He winds up a pitch

"Love you, Daddy!" Sylvi calls out, a preemptive defense.

"Love you tooo, swe.." SPLASH as Olgar goes down, Colton's shot ALSO good

Vali ponders "Okay, we clearly need to set that further back"

"You think?" Olgar comes up sputtering .. just in time to see Colton claiming a Victory Kiss from Sylvi!

A very happy victory kiss, yes! Then she hurries over to the tank. "You okay, Dad?"

Adam laughs aloud. Sound of it might even ready his mom, wherever she went.

"Yeay yeah..someone put ice cubes in the water " he eyes the various pooka "But I'll live"
