"He is."

"Dad's making burgers, Tove is making a cake..."

"It'll be nice, I think. Maybe we could play basketball..." Wistful.

"If you want, even I will play basketball with you." A sigh "Though I'm not terribly good at it"

"I think you'd do fine with a little practice. You just need to see how it works, yeah?"

"You're fast and plenty of it is about figuring out patterns and angles."

"mmm I might enjoy that" she admits

"Man, imagine if you tried pool."

A smug look at something

"What?"

"In point of fact, I have" she confesses

"Adoptodad taught me how to play it"

"Ohhhhh yeah, he would!"

"Yeah," she smiles "He's good too. So I'm getting good. He thinks I'm a prodigy. I admit, I might use it to hustle someone some day"

"Welllll.... as a Gwydion, I don't know if I can condone such behaviour..." Clearly teasing.

"Maybe I'll hustle balor" A grin

"Ha!"

"We should play some day, pool or billards I mean"

"You just want to win." She sticks out her tongue, then grins. "We can, okay."

"I like winning. I'm a sidhe, we're supposed to win. The Dreaming says so" Primly "Just ask our sidhe seers"

"Yeah yeah"

"But the basketball game is still on," she nods assuringly

"Excellent." A pause, and she laughs. "We could play Horse!"

"What's Horse?" She honestly doesn't know?

"Oh, it's a game. You have to spell out the word, you see, and...." SO she explains.

"Oh! Sounds like fun practice!" She says "And.. it's really called Horse? Well we HAVE to do it now" She glances at the magazine

"Obviously..."

"Oh, hey, can I take your picture? Have you seen the camera yet?"

"Camera?" She says "You can take my picture, of course"

"OH! It was a gift! It takes chimerical pictures... you didn't know about it?"

"How long have your had it?" she asks

"About a week..."

"It was all VERY mysterious."

She takes out the camera to line up a shot.

"Oh, that's pretty" But she poses

Snap!

"Oh yeah, you should see it from this end..."

The camera spits out a photo, which slowly develops into a print.

Nadeen looks "Now I wish I were wearing a nicer dress. " A glance "Still, brilliant"

"Oh, I think you look great."

"But see, it's YOU - ears and all."

"It is," She says moving a lock of her hair past her delicate ear.

A flush of purple and she bites on her lower lip for a second. "Yeah..."

"Here, let me take one of you" She takes the camera if she can

"Oh. Um. You want one?" BLUSH. She does allow Nadeen to take it.

"I suppose I'll be in trouble if I ask you to blow a kiss?" Mischief

She blushes harder! "Um."

"That'll do" She takes the picture

And sure enough, the picture comes out "Okay, this is really good. It even got purple tinges"
