Nadeen laughs, then says "I won't miss the birthday, thank you, Connor."

Dag grins, just a little.

He scrambles around but manages to recover the bullfrog. "I named 'em knee deep because that's what I had to go into the pond to find 'em, and at night that's the song he sings." Making a croaking noise, "neeee-DEEP, neee-DEEP..."

"Well, that's a good reasoning for the name..."

"Hey, you ever see the peepers? They're TINY for as loud as they are..."

"Peepers?" He nods, then shakes his head. "All the time..." Sounding curious.

"Oh Dagmar, I'm not sure he's ready for Peepers"

"I mean, I'm the number one peeper-peeper, I peep on all the peeping peeps. Aren't those marsh-a-mallow?"

A slightly dramatic note

"No no I'm ready! I am!!" He insists!

"grunk" Goes the bullfrog.

"Peepers are VERY shy, for all that you hear them all around the lake..."

"Do you think Kneedeep is tired? I thought maybe I could tuck him into bed for a nap. Sylvi's room is right there after all."

"I think Kneedeep might prefer a nice lily pad..."

"Gerd's room is too far away." A sigh.

Nadeen looks at him, "Call Gerd, silly. Phone is right there"

"But TELLING her I have a bullfrog for her bed doesn't make her squeak! It's part of the little brother code. You... just gotta."

A shrug.

"Dagmar, you'll see soon." An enigmatic grin over to her.

"I'm gonna teach the prince all I know."

"Uh... prince?"

"What else would you call a baby King?" A grin! "Okay, I gotta take kneedeep back to the pond. Otherwise Nadeen might try to kiss him to turn him into a Prince too, and no one wants THAT."

Brow furrow. "He'll be too little to do much for a while."

A wave, and he scrambles out as fast as he came.

Nadeen watches him go, "he's an adorable boy, but I think I should offer to take him Gerd's more often"

"Yeah..."

A smile "A prince mm?"

"Well, he sort of will be..." A sigh, shoulders drooping.

"I was just wondering if I kiss a king, do you turn into a frog, or a princess?" Nadeen's eyes sparkle trying to cheer her

"Well, you would be the prettiest frog..."

Playful shove "I don't get warts, thank you"

"Those are toads!"

"We could find out, anyhow." And she leans back to steal a kiss!

Dagmar's bold move pays off dividends, for she surprises a sidhe, and this is quite the prize. More over, Nadeen returns the kiss, deepening a bit.

"Well - not feeling froggy?"

Nadeen looks into those glorious eyes and says "Ribbit"

Snerk-grin.

a lovely chuckle, "I'm not feeling froggy either."

"So then I guess I'm safe."

The sidhe runs fingers along the arms of Dagmar, "Strong, yet I am safe with you. Yes."

"Oh, always safe with me." A nod. "I'll protect you, oath or no."

Nadeen strokes once more than says "Not quite what i meant, but thank you." A smile "looking forward to your birthday?"

"Sort of. Dunno, things are weird..."

"How so?" She sits up a bit curious

"Well, all... this.." She gestures around.

"No May or Lupe, right?"

"Can't go out and do stuff..."

"They'll enchant May and Lupe and it'll be fine. We'll make sure the germs are off them," Nadeen says "If need be I will arrange it. You will have your birthday with as many of your friends as possible."

And she does this with a commanding tone as if ready to order an army to prepare for war.

"Lupe should be okay, May, we gotta handle her parents..."
